Great Tacos! dropped by when i was in town for a conference and saw that they had great reviews. I had different tacos and all were good. Nice family owned restaurant. i'll come back if i am in the area and want some great tacos!

This is a go-to spot for lunch time. My favorite is the queso-birria tacos. The nachos are a meal for two. To top this off they are so nice! I’ve had nothing but good experiences from everyone that works in this store. Been stopping in for months and look forward to their flavors.

Stumbled on this place as we searched local food on our last day in Palm Springs, saw the 5 star reviews and had to try itThe owners were so lovely and helpful (as we are from Australia and not all that knowledgeable about Mexican food)We had tried tacos in Tijuana and thought they were the best but these were so much better, the carne asada meat was tender and very easy to eatThe asada fries and nachos were plentiful and full of flavourSeriously the best Mexican we have hadAnd the fact it’s in a liquor store and you would never even know it’s there 10/10!

I apologize but I have been going to get food at this location ever since they opened. I should have given a review from the start, but I wanted to wait until I truly experienced all of what they have to offer. All I have to say is, AMAZING. Everything from their carnitas tacos to carne asada nachos is the best. I can say I even drink their hot sauce lol. You want food that gives every bang for the buck, you need to go here. They are such wonderful people to deal with, which makes it even better.

We walked 3 miles round trip to eat here because of the 5 star rating. It turned out to be a good move as it was unbelievably tasty.The clientele is 90% Latino and the line was out the door! We arrived right at noon so we waited 20 minutes and it was worth every second.He prepared our burritos right before our eyes and seared the carnitas on his griddle. Yummy!!!

Found this place searching the web for California burritos, localish to our Airbnb... my wife wanted one and I ended up getting the Carne Asada Tostada (mexican salad). Both were fresh and great. The carne was well cooked and not overly chewy like some places that use cheap meat. I was initially a little leery of all the good reviews, but I have to agree with them.

My fiancé and I just moved to Palm Springs from long beach and have been on the hunt for the best Mexican food and WE FOUND IT. El Jr Tacos is the best, everything on the menu is delicious and will not disappoint. The food is fresh every time and absolutely delicious. You will not regret coming here, but you will regret not coming here.
