Can't say enough good praises about this place. Amazing food. The sweet potato fries are DELICIOUS, best I've ever had. My daughter couldn't get enough. But honestly all of the food we ordered was amazing (salad with shrimp, spicy berry margarita, chips and guac).

Staff is great. Don't ask the wrong staff for extra utensils or you won't get help. I didn't mind because right after I realized that someone else came soon after and asked me if I needed anything. Also a positive was that all of the staff is friendly!

Also the lady that took my order across from the bar was SUPER quick, professional and efficient! I don't want to leave anyone out, the lady that serves my drink was super friendly as well.

ALSO, I sat down, blinked and my order was ready. I was amazed. If I. Loved out here I'd come here all the time. Great restaurant, highly recommend.

We stopped in without reservations on a busy night when most restaurants had an hour-long wait. Luckily, this place was only moderately busy and was able to seat all seven of us comfortably. The staff was great and even let us know we still had time to catch the happy hour—despite only having about 10 minutes left. (Also, love that their happy hour runs generously until 7 PM!)

The food was solid, but what really earned this spot a high rating was how accommodating they were with our vegetarian needs. They customized dishes without hesitation—like making the quesadillas on corn tortillas—and they already offer a great vegan section. They were more than willing to adjust options for vegetarians who still enjoy cheese, which we truly appreciated. I do wish restaurants would consider the amount of single use plastics they use - we had a seat down meal and each dish came with multiple little plastic containers on paper boats… just feels so wasteful!

Overall, great service, thoughtful accommodations, and a welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely return!

why do they have a sign “wait to be seated “ but you need to order at the counter! would not of been a big deal if we were told. after they gave us a table and we waited 15 mins with no service i found a server and then it was explained. some of the servers were rude! i would not go
back even though the margarita was very good.

Our best meal during a four day visit. Great carnitas and barbacoa. The service is quick and a mix of order at counter after being seated. Food and additional beverages can be ordered at the table. Prices were reasonable and customary for the area. Great people watching on the patios.

This a great spot to watch the sidewalk theater and all those who pass. Cheap drinks during happy hour make for a pleasant afternoon cocktail. The food is ordered at a counter and is delivered by friendly staff. We had chicken fajitas and tacos. The beans were delicious, the chicken was bit dry and seemed to be prepared in advance. The tacos were tasty and were stuffed with meat. If you’re looking for a fast casual meal with a prime view, this place is worth a stop.

Refried beans and rice were bland. $8 tacos are good but were tiny just three bites.

Weirdest carne asada tacos I've seen and tasted

Looked more like pastor meat and was super spongy

There are way too many good Mexican places nearby (and some bad ones so beware) to want to come here. Likely why they have the daily specials, yo get you interested. The fajita plate was small and not piping hot like usual. The meat and veggies were cooked really well though, absolutely got to give them that! Thats where it all falls apart though. The rice was straight up bad... I took 2 bites, the second bite was juat to make sure haha. The beans were mediocre too. The tortillas (flour) were good, slightly chewy... nothing truly special but they were indeed good.
I've been here 3 or 4 times since they originally opened and every once in a while I check in, id hope one day to be surprised but its still the same owners, same ingredients etc
I may try again in 2 years, but not expecting much.

The prices are insane too.

Palm Springs went with family to the street event that palms springs have every Thursday we were told it was a farmers market. This day they had everything but fresh veggies. I had a awesome time everyone had a great time I had been to El Patron before but not at this location. The food was awesome fresh I ordered the fahida plate. I just got the Angus beef. Do to my food allergies to shell fish and chicken. I shall definitely be going there again on thursday.

Big lady in the big hat is very condensing and constantly gets things wrong, she has a bad attitude and from my understanding she is related to the owner which makes sense why she has such a see you next Tuesday attitude.
