I took order to go but the bar was very dark and you walk almost into the kitchen to pick up your order. The ribs were fall off the bone but the meat didn't have enough chew ( very soft) the brisket had very good flavor. I also ordered beans and the were a mix of baked beans and savory chili and didn't work for me but I did like the cornbread.

Good air conditioning (!!) and strong drinks at the right price. If you're looking for a neighborhood dive, this is it. Food is always delightful when the cook is working. Free pool and shuffleboard, lots of televisions with many channels to surf. Catch a game or watch Golden Girls reruns, your choice.
Parking: The attached parking lot can be kind of crazy when they're busy
Kid-friendliness: This is a straight up dive bar. This place is not kid friendly. I doubt they'd let kids in at all, but if they did, your youngsters would probably see and hear new things you may not want them to know yet, yaknow?
Everyone is generally friendly but sometimes folks get spirited

Everyone at this place is golden.
However, after my car being clipped after a fight there (I was not involved), the owner has made every excuse for a month to not look through a couple hours of footage. She even went on vacation during the month. That says enough and I have been patient. I'm severely disappointed.
