Saw this place recommended all over the Internet and read the great reviews and we eat a lot of dates at home so we were excited to try a date shake. But I guess it's just not for us. It tasted mostly like vanilla with just a hint of date. The walnut date one was slightly better because the walnut added a little more taste and crunch. Date smoothie is a must-try when you are in Palm Springs.
It’s a bit too sweet for me, but the creaminess and texture are great.
The self-serve water helps balance out the sweetness.

This shake spot hit the spot. We were walking in the evening after dinner and wanted something cold and sweet. The inside is a vibe in its self. I love the atmosphere. It has a history of all the candy, cool lighting, posters of classic movies, a great selection of candy and more. We ordered two classic date shakes and they were delicious! They came with real dates and a small donut which was unique. The workers were quick and helpful.
