I really wanted to like the High Bar. Great location, but only worth visiting for the view, no reason to go after dark, but really not worth it even at sunset, due to poor maintenance and quality. The venue smells absolutely terrible, with strong bathroom odors drifting around even though you’re outside in the open air, and a poorly cleaned or filtered pool (indicating very cheap and lazy maintenance and construction - ie. what would they have done to manage the odor, if the same facilities were enclosed and indoors, so they obviously thought they could cut corners being outside). We came for our 15 Year Anniversary and were really trying to be optimistic, but at least it’s something to look back on and laugh about, these were the worst cocktails we’ve ever had, you may as well go to an Applebees if you just want a poorly balanced and weak cocktail, that you need to plug your nose to get down quickly. All fruit pulp, and no flavor unfortunately. We also watched one of the bartenders pour an ingredient for my husband’s drink, into a shot glass/jigger, then accidentally knock it on to the floor as he reached for the shaker…. and he never bothered to replace it, or add that ingredient back into my husband’s drink. We decided on just a single each after watching and tasting: $40 total. For half that cost, there are dozens of bars in the valley that do better work maintaining facilities and pouring drinks, but at that cost, I was really hopeful for something a little less embarrassing, in terms of venue and drink quality.Another rich-run dive, gives the vibe it’s operated by someone’s wealthy kid who hasn’t lifted a finger in his life mentally, or physically, who doesn’t grasp the basics of their responsibilities and is still in over their head, even after however many years.Genuinely it’s a shame, and a wasted opportunity to easily do better, we’re locals, we were hoping for a decent addition to our summer spots after finally stopping in, but this isn’t it.

The place and ambience were nice, it was crowded and only 2 servers - they were quite understaffed so it was a wait for drinks and food, however the 2 servers were nice and fast as they could possibly be- but with almost 100 people and 2 servers- management should be better! Drinks were good - food was ok, had the shrimp tacos, everything a little overpriced TBH so value was not totally there, maybe you are just paying for the view.

Sat at the bar for wine, chairs in shade and later in a cabana. Beautiful view of the mountains and PS. Attentive service, popular roof top bar of the Rowan Hotel.

Came up to the view, the area designated for the bar doesn’t have the greatest view while you’re grabbing a drink (faces the art museum) . They did let me pop over to look out where the hotel guest have a view and it was beautiful.

This is probably one of the most beautiful and the highest bars in Palm Springs. This is the place where if you want to have an upscale drink by the pool and dance to some cool music from DJ_LF, this is where you go!

The absolute best ahi wonton nachos I have ever had! My friends enjoyed the shrimp tacos that apparently have a bit of a spicy kick. Our cocktails were also great. The service was stellar & so was the view & atmosphere. I would love to come back to Palm Springs and stay here! Great location & beautiful fresh new modern vibe.

While the views are gorgeous, I was very disappointed the last time I visited for the service, or lack thereof. I brought friends specifically here, hoping to catch the sunset on the rooftop bar with a cocktail. Immediately when we came in, the security guard said we were not allowed to sit at the empty tables, even though there wasn't a single one occupied and they were all sitting empty. They said we could still get drinks at the bar, but then when we tried to sit around a planter, they also said we couldn't do that. So basically they were ok with us buying $20 cocktails but not having a place to drink them. I tried talking to Ramon who was managing that night and he basically told us it was all reserved for hotel guests. So then why did you let us in and let us buy $20 cocktails? How convenient. If you want your bar to be only hotel guests then maybe say that before we come in and you take our money? Just a thought.
