Went there for diner on an early Monday evening. Our little group of four had the octopus appetizer, followed by four different plates and some deserts. Excellent services, staff is top notch, good wine recommendations to match the plates. Our top favourite was the lasagna; it takes some audacity to propose such a familiar meal that almost every home cook a version. And it doesn't disapoint. The whole group were very impressed. Second place was the chicken a la parmegliana with mashed potatoes. The wine sauce and the colors of the plate were excellent. Third place was the Papardelle Norcina; fresh pasta with mushroom sauce and italian saucage; excellent balance of the spicyness of the sausage vs the softness of the mushrooms; I personally wished that the plate had more colors dynamics at the levels of the satisfactions in mouth. Final plate was the Romana pizza that was also excellent; very tasty with a crispy crust. Deserts were pretty spot on too; our top pick was the Cannolo, zesty orange and very crispy shell. Awesome. Tiramusu was also above our expectations and the vanilla gelato with an espresso shot was also very good. On a constructive axis, we wished that the octopus was less chewy and more tender; might be false expectations I had. All in all, on a very positive note, the experience was awesome with a tendency to repeat the experience. Expect about a 80 dollars per person including wines and deserts.

As an Italian who’s passionate about local Italian cuisine, I've always had a soft spot for Il Corso. Their pizza and lasagne are commendable, making it a go-to for a decent Italian meal. However, I find myself compelled to share my recent disappointment due to a significant policy change. For years, Il Corso was a welcoming spot for me and my furry companion. We enjoyed many meals there, basking in the restaurant's dog-friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, this has changed. The restaurant has decided to no longer welcome dogs, a move that feels like a step backward. The space at Il Corso, with its ample indoor and outdoor areas, often underutilized, could easily accommodate pet owners without inconvenience. This recent shift not only limits the restaurant's inclusivity but also feels like a slight to loyal customers who valued Il Corso's previously accommodating stance. In essence, this policy change has altered my perception of Il Corso. A restaurant's decision to restrict its openness, especially in a community that values its furry friends, subtracts from its hospitality. I hope for a reconsideration of this stance, for the sake of maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

I’m generally opposed to chains but we had heard good things so we tried it. Really beautiful restaurant, in a great location and good food. We keep saying we need to go back. It was that good.

Table was not ready has to wait 15 mins which sucks when you made a reso a month ahead. Our fave linguine vongole we have had many times did not have the usual flavouring.. kind of bland no chilis not enough garlic or parsley.. Pam desert location Vongole usually very good

The Caesar-like salad was acceptable but not above ordinary. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente BUT the lobster in the pasta was so overcooked that it was tough and rubbery. In addition, there was an unexpected grittiness in every bite, as if sand had been added to the dish. On the other hand, the Negroni was quite good.

Energetic vibe. Delicious food. Friendly efficient service. Our only complaint is that bread wasn't automatically served with the charcuterie board we ordered, but that was fairly quickly corrected when asked. The meats and cheeses on the charcuterie were fresh and fantastic. We also polished off our entrees of veal parm and linguine with clams.

This used to be one of the nicest restaurants in Palm Springs. Unfortunately the quality and service have gone way downhill. The portion sizes were smaller, the food was not prepared with usual care, and the quality was much lower than it used to be. It's such a shame.

Fabulous location, beautiful resturant, amazing social vibe but the food is mediocre at best! I asked the lamb chops medium (turned out very well done) I asked for no prosciutto, I don't eat any type of pork ( there was prosciutto in the salad) bland spinach and mashed potato's. My husband had the veil parmesan way to thin and flavorless on a bed of what tased like jar spaghetti sauce. Lots of potential in this place, but, the food needs improvement. Basket of bread and garlic slice oil were terrific and so were the drink snd service

Disappointed with the service and the food. It seemed they were overwhelmed and understaffed. We had to hunt for someone to take our order and refill our water glasses. The waiter even gave the person who hunted him down a complimentary glass of wine but didn't offer anything to the others at the table. Don't order the Ravioli dinner. It's more like an appetizer. We won't return.

Our 6th time to Palm Springs and were so happy to see this restaurant across the street from our hotel….decided to try out a new place and it was beautiful. Our problem was after making reservations online, they seated us at the long 2 person booth that seats @ 20 people along the wall. Worst thing is the couple next to us (the woman) talked incessantly without coming up for air not giving her companion a word at all and unusually loud! Ruined our entire meal. Food and wine were great and Juan was very nice but never again will we be seated at one of these long tables!

We had a wonderful dinner! Everything was great. The food, food options, service, ambiance & setting were all outstanding. We would definitely recommend this restaurant on your next visit to Palm Springs!

Everything about this place was good besides the food, and by food I mean the appetizers because we never made it to the main course. We ordered a bunch of apps and waited to order our main meal. We have the carpaccio, burrata, and I can't think of the 3rd. They were ok. Burrata was good but came with no bread. The carpaccio was not good. The bread that comes with the dinner was fantastic though and the people there were also amazing.
