The chicken burrito is the best deal in town. And the staff treats you like family. Truly a hidden gem.

Great view of the Santa Rosa mountains and the Palm Springs Aerial Tram, margaritas are ok. Friendly server but she was super slow, so if you have a couple of hours to kill and like cold food this is the place. I watched her spend a lot of time on her phone playing games behind the bar so be very patient if you want refills. Food was mediocre and probably would of enjoyed it more if I would of gotten it while it was hot.

An amazing, unpretentious, friendly and welcoming spot with delicious food, self-proclaimed but undisputed "best margaritas in the desert", and old school fried ice cream that brought me back to the 80s in the best way possible. It's not big or fancy, but it's definitely worth a visit.

The food was great. The service was excellent. The entire team there made you feel well at home. I will definitely be back and recommend them to friends and family.

Fantastic neighborhood Mexican restaurant with a VEGAN section on the menu!! Tacos, enchiladas, etc. We were thrilled to have quite a few choices. Even their refried beans are vegan. Service was quick and excellent. Charming dining room and bar area, nice outdoor patio. We will definitely be back.

What a gem! We stopped in here for margaritas and chips and salsa before going to dinner next door, and the women working were so sweet. Next time we are in Palm Springs we will definitely be coming in for dinner!

Says open but they're clearly closed . Walked in the hot sun. Wish the information on Yelp was accurate regarding open and closing signs. Says they're open till 9 on website

We moved to North Palm Springs about 3 years ago part time and moved here full time in May of 2022. We discovered JJ's when we first were here completely by accident. I had thought I had a reservation at a fancy sushi place next door called Sandfish. But when we went there, I had goofed and had the reservation for a different day. We had guests with us, so it was embarrassing. When we were walking back to our car there was JJ's and we decided to go in. It is a true Mom and Pop establishment, and they are so nice, and the food is always deliciously prepared. Their carnitas are truly wonderful but really, everything is good. It is not one of those new hybrid Mexican fancy places, this is "old school" delicious Mexican food in a sweet cozy atmosphere.

They have THE BEST Mexican Shrimp cocktails I've ever had. The service is friendly and quick. We have been coming here for 6 years. We've moved to Tucson but still visit everytime we're back in California.

Great drinks, especially the cucumber. Went here before dinner but had some chips, salsa, and guac for the table and wish we would have had dinner there too! Highly recommend.

Don’t be fooled by the lack luster outside and inside ambience of this restaurant..the authentic service, intricate and quality cocktails, and delicious, flavorful salsa and guac made this place absolutely worth the experience and price!!

Horrible service, food was barely edible. Don't know how they've been in business so long. Sorry just giving an honest review

JJ's Mexican Oasis is a family-owned restaurant on the north side of town, that's been in business since 1981. I've been a customer for 9+ years, and this Mexican restaurant is my favorite in Palm Springs! In my humble opinion, JJ's has the best carne asada in the Coachella Valley. My go to dish is either the large carne asada combination plate, the carne asada soft tacos, or the carne asada burrito (YUM!). The combination plates include a salad and rice, and come in three sizes (small, medium, or large). I love the guacamole, chips, and salsa, and you will too. I've never tried any of the desserts because I'm so full from the main course. The house made salsa, guacamole, and chips, are a must, and the perfect accompaniment to a Margarita! The decor is nothing special because the food is the star at JJ's. With several booths and a small outdoor patio, you might have to wait a few minutes for a table. Evilin, JJ, and Luis, work hard and put their heart and soul into their family business and it shows. That's why I've been a loyal customer for nearly ten years, When you want a hearty freshly prepared meal in Palm Springs, visit JJ's Mexican Oasis! And tell ''em Roy sent you!
