This was our first time at Jake's. I was hesitant about going because I didn't want to spend that much money on an entree but the food was so delicious it was worth the price. I had the Seabass & my husband had the meatloaf. We shared the Miami vice salad as a starter and the carrot cake for dessert. Didn't have any drinks so can't comment there. The Seabass was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. Perfect portion. My husband loved the meatloaf. The picture doesn't do it any justice. They brought complimentary bread rolls (one each). The slice of cake is large & definitely for sharing & worth trying. It's a small restaurant with most of the seating on the side patio. Our reservation was at 5:30 in April & some of the tables still had partial sun. Our server Alexia was very attentive. I would love to go back. We brought our dog & they gave him water & treats.

Had dinner there tonight. The rain kind of messed things up, but Riley the hostess dealt with us kindly and let us know what was happening, and that we would have to wait while they dealt with that. Others who may have jumped the line were dealt with kindness and patience. Ashley the waitress was wonderful, made a great suggestion for me and invited me back for my impending 60th bday. The food was delicious and high we knew it would be. All in all, go and enjoy dinner here with their great staff.

Jake's has been a favorite restaurant of mine for many years and it never fails to deliver excellent food, courteous service and charming ambience in the courtyard patio. I have been there twice in the past two weeks and continue to be impressed with the new owners' ability to improve on what was already exceptional. If you want consistently good food in a "south of France" setting then Jake's is the place to go.

This restaurant is a long time favorite of locals, and you will get a well executed meal, a ginormous martini and a fairly priced bottle of wine served by friendly staff. When I go to the desert, this is the place I love to catch up with friends. The menu has standards, but also seasonal rotations and the lemon cake the other night was amazing!

Had a wonderful brunch here on Saturday. From the greeting upon entering, to the tasty food--we had the croque benedict and the turkey sandwich--to very attentive service from Jose J, all combined to make a great experience!

Great fancy drinks. Good sea bass but the fish itself was a small portion. Almost like it had been split down the middle. Cake was huge. One piece for four of us was plenty! Also, great vibe!
