Loved, loved, loved this wine tasting room! I walked in at 3:45 (closing at 4pm) and the owner, Mark was very open and welcoming. Loved all 5 of the wines I tasted and happily joined the wine club. Looking forward to spending much more time here!

Ian was extremely knowledgeable and quite helpful in explaining the various wines . The music was great and the only thing about the tasting was which wine to buy ! Highly recommend visiting Mark & Ian at their beautiful Palm Springs tasting room ? If you're a fan of Santa Inez, Santa Maria Valley grapes you will love their pours. So delicious we took home a case. Mark is a wonderful story teller & conversationalist. Definitely treat yourself if you're in the area. Hours depend on season so plan accordingly ?

I recently hosted a private wine tasting happy hour at Jalama Wines for clients and guests. Our group had a fantastic time, many thanks to the owners: Ian and Mark. From planning the event through execution they were easy to work with, responsive to communications and friendly to our large party. I highly recommend hosting a private party with them and look forward to visiting again soon!

My sister (the bachelorette) wanted to do a wine tasting as part of her bachelorette weekend. As we searched for a wine tasting bar that fit our schedule, we came across Jalama Wines, a boutique wine tasting shop, on Yelp. We starting planning a year ago. Ian and Mark Cargasacchi, the owners, were super responsive and accommodating to our needs. We were able to set up a private wine tasting with 5 tastings (4 wines and 1 revisit). It was about an hour to an hour 15 minutes.Their staff member onsite was so sweet and played Spice Girls for us while we had our tasting. Spice Girls was the theme for the weekend. The storefront was located in a strip outdoor mall. It looked like a mini winery inside. The bar wrapped around the left wall and there were stools around the perimeter. She walked us through each wine and we were provided a cheese platter. The wine is AMAZING! It was not too bitter, or too sweet. We actually felt the wine as the tasting went on. At the end, we had about 30 minutes before our reservation so we bought a bottle to share.Ian and Mark, thank YOU so much for everything! I hope to swing by your wine shop again in the future :)

The owners of this tasting room are the absolute nicest. They are so welcoming?The wine is wonderful, highly recommend the zinfandel. Please visit this little tasting room for a lovely afternoon with a great ambience

Ian is an amazing sommelier. He was not only a great host, but his knowledge of the grapes, harvesting, and winemaking process was beyond anything that I have encountered since my stay in Palm Springs. I highly recommend Jamala Wine tasting over the more popular commercial vineyards in the dessert. It was a private and intimate tasting. I will be back!
