It was very quiet at 5:30 on a Friday in April. The wine list was surprisingly small, 8 selections. I had a chopped salad and it was such a good size with blue cheese bacon and egg. I decided not to get a main course and hot lava cake desert. It was nice what you sound expect for lava cake.
we have lived in Palm Springs for two years and never heard of circa 59. Just searching OpenTable it popped up and we realize it was very close to where we lived and thought it looked cute and we'd try it. we went on a weeknight. It's part of the Riviera Hotel. It's an outdoor area with large trees that sits by the pool, making for a very nice Palm Springs ambience. Our waiter Selena was so sweet and really fantastic! The food was really good. Shane provided a wonderful experience. Great service and very attentive. Restaurant is changing over from JWB to Circa 59, so there are some beach themed items still present. Looking forward to seeing the restaurant and hotel once the decor is complete.
