Friend and I went for the Fried Chicken Sunday evening special. Great service and very generous table family style servings. Excellent fried chicken and corn bread. Well worth the price! Will be back! Only nit is that King's Highway could use a little freshening, specially the flooring which is a mess.
If you are visiting, this is a beautiful classic road side diner, where you can come and beta test your desert hipster outfit, adjust your tattoo to plaid to work wear ratio and enjoy a hearty meal. If you are a local, you will find a nice alternative to the same cookie cutter fine dining experience. Kids chocolate chip pancake was the highlight for me. The breakfast wrap was ok but the eggs were well done, bacon was a bit too hard on the teeth. The leafy green side salad was meh.
Wife got the spicy nacho breakfast. Forgot the name of it but it was mostly one dimensional.
Overall it was nice to try.
