La Bonita's - Palm Springs, CA

best traditional taco salad I've had! fresh ingredients and everything tasted so good! definitely will come back on my next trip! it was the best food I had my 6 days here!

Salty!!! I don't know why I kept striking out with the food in Palm Springs for my short stay, but everything I tried, had at least one item that was heavy handed with the salt. And unfortunately, this place followed that same trend. I was excited to try some "authentic" Mexican cuisine because I am from the northeast and nowhere near the border. The rice, chips, and the chicken in the burrito I ordered were drowning in salt. The burrito was so unbalanced in flavor, there was just salt and blandness. The drinks were okay. It honestly was nothing special.

Very bad Mexican food. Skip unless you’re looking for a tourist trap. Not authentic (even compared to similar Californian Mexican food restaurants) or good. Photos are doing a lot of heavy lifting bc it doesn’t look good in person either.

We are visiting from out of town and decided to stop and grab bite to eat. We were beyond happy with the food, it had amazing flavor. Would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for delicious Mexican food with great service.

Excellent carne asada!

OMG! The food here is so freaking good and I especially recommend anything with Carne asada on it. It's seasoned perfectly and tender. THE BEST BIRTHDAY DINNER EVER!!!!

The food was really good and authentic. Coming from the Midwest, it was a bit surprising that queso is not an item at most local places. The service was terrific and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. I would definitely try again.

Perfect. The salsa, the tortillas, tacos, fajitas, service. Get a Dos Equis Amber, with lime, fresh guacamole. Flawless, and I mean it.

We stumbled across this gem while driving through Palm Springs. The owner, Aaron, greeted us like we old friends. The food was delicious, the atmosphere fun, and the service outstanding! So glad we found LA Bonita's!
