Very disappointed with this place. Charging 7$ for a single scoop that is about the size of a tablespoon was a bummer. 2 single scoops and a small dole ice cream was 21$ Not sure this is normal or just because it was Thursday night street fair so they want to skimp on the amount. I'd rather go to Rite Aid for the same kind of ice cream but better pricing.

This is an amazing local ice cream joint in the Palm Springs center. It has a Hawaiian/island theme and carries several pacific island flavors such as Ube - delicious, lychee, etc. among others. The shakes are amazing as well as their ice cream. Delicious treat under the warm Palm Springs sun!

I absolutely love Lapperts! Some of the best ice cream in Palm Springs and in general that I've ever tried. Lots of unique flavors like horchata, guava cheesecake, ube, and more. They even have dole whip, ice cream sandwiches, floats, and other novelties. Employees were super friendly and let you try any flavor which I appreciated since they all sounded so delicious! If you are looking for somewhere to stop for a sweet treat you have to come here!!!

While walking downtown after dinner, we were happily surprised to find Lappert's. My husband could not get into the door fast enough! :) He had the large size Dole Whip soft serve. I had a small scoop of the Coconut ice cream. So, so good! The creamy and delicious flavors immediately brought us back to our favorite vacation place. I'm sure we'll be back again before we leave Palm Springs.

We stopped in this weekend to try the famous date shake with somewhat low expectations and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I quite enjoyed the date shake! It was delicious and not overly sweet. The service was friendly and helpful. We also were so delighted to discover they had dole whip and many unique tempting ice cream flavors. I was aware that Lappert's was "the" ice cream shop to try in town but convinced that it was all hype. I'm here to tell you it's not hype, it's real deliciousness and I would 100% visit again any time I'm lucky enough to be in the area!

Excellent ice cream. We went multiple times during our stay in Palm Springs. They have great, uncommon flavors that are tropical themed. I loved the chocolate chip caramel banana and Nuku Hiva flavor. My husband loved the rum raisin and coco loco.

Not cheap, but there is nothing as refreshing and flavorful than a Dole whip. Yes, there are lots of flavors of ice cream and sorbets, date shakes, even lactose free ones offered, but I am stuck on Dole whip. We hit a lull in the usual line and were efficiently served. Pay near the entry door. The interior is bright and clean. Conveniently located across from Tommy Bahamas and Starbucks, there are benches and chairs available on the sidewalk outside so you can enjoy your ice cream and watch the crowds walk by in beautiful downtown PS.
