Happy with all the changes since Bar was added. Better food, better kitchen, better service!
We had a table for 6 on the patio which was nice and private. Some guests were celebrating Passover and ordered from the huge menu, which were enjoyed. I selected the stuffed cabbage roll, but would not order again since the cabbage was tough to cut, but the filling tasty. The desserts are enormous so we could't possible eat them all, which is a waste. We'll know better next time. The Coconut Cake was recommended so two of us ordered and we wished for more toasted coconut, plus we should have shared one piece for the table. The carrot cake wasn't a fan fav. Our server is a local character and did a nice job, but sure has his own unique style with customers, and we weren't in a New York deli.
We were a group of 12, mostly separate checks (yes, we were those people). Orders were taken and food arrived in a very reasonable amount of time. Service was friendly and attentive. Everyone was very satisfied with their selection. Some it was their first time, others have been here before. The consensus is that we will be back!
Very good service. My husband ordered the ribeye steak. It was definitely not a ribeye. He should have know better than to order that steak in a deli. I ordered the Matzo Ball soup. It was way too salty. Turkey sandwich was ok. Rye bread was not soft, and the turkey was a bit dry.
Stopped in for lunch. Great choices and serving sizes were huge. Friendly staff. Food was excellent
The food and service were outstanding. The only issue was the noise level. The restaurant was packed. However, we were seated by a window, which was wonderful. The noise level would not keep me from going back.
We had a larger party of 6 prime time on a holiday and the service was still great! Our waiter was knowledgable AND FUNNY! Food was wonderful! START WITH DESSERT! Of course the reuben had LOTS of pastrami, Salmon was done just right, and we had chicken salad which was delicious. We drive 40 minutes, passing many other restaurants for our favorite place in Palm Springs! Yay to Manhattan's.
The closest thing to a NJ dinner I have found here in the desert. Terrific food, friendly service, and a substantial menu! Plus, a full bar too!

Way overpriced for nothing special sandwiches. Minestrone soup was quite good. Apparently, you have to request the pickles and sauerkraut, and when they finally arrived, it looked like someone had already taken bites out of the pickles. Yuck! Would not return.
