Mario's Italian Cafe Palm Springs

The worst pizza on the planet!! My Italian family owns restaurants back east, and my grandmother would say, “I wouldn’t even serve this food to Americans!!” Food is awful!!

Food was not the best. I had the same.
Dish a few months ago and it was good.

Best Marinara and calamari on earth. Also largest glass of red wine in Palm Springs. I swear I only had 1!!!

It was a nice peaceful place to eat. I had the mario special pizza the veggies were practically raw and I prefer my pizza and toppings roasted. I would go back but would try something different. The service was great and waitresses were very friendly.

Always enjoy dining at Mario's. Always have more food than I can eat. Have food for the next day's lunch.

Went here with two adults two kids. Food and wine were delicious! I had the chicken piccata on pasta with Chardonnay the kids had butter noodles, my friend ordered the chicken parmigiana sandwich it was huge and so good. Also the caprese salad was big enough for four people to share. Will definitely be back

Great service, the meal was delicious salad, pasta and desert. The server was very friendly and great music added to the ambiance, a nice little Italian style cafe!!

Great place. Reminds me of an old fashioned restaurant. Love that they have price fixed lunch and dinner specials. Even my iced tea glass was nice size. Will definitely go back next time I visit Palm Springs.

I have been to Mario's several times and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. This visit was with a lunch group of about 35 people. The staff was excellent and prepared for our group. Within 2 hours, appetizer, salad, and entree were delivered, efficiently and hot, or cold as expected. The Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo was very good, and the Bomba Ice Cream dessert is the "Bomb." Good job, Mario's.

I recently moved to Palm Springs and stumbled upon this cute little Italian Cafe. Mario's has really good food and prices...with huge glasses of wine and huge meatballs!

The best part of my experiences at Mario's have been the times that Lucy has been my server. I have been to Mario's about a half dozen times now and Lucy has been my server 3 of those times. I have never told her how much her service means to me, so I thought I would write a review.

I recently lost my life-partner of 20 years, which is why I have relocated to Palm Springs for a fresh start. It's truly difficult for me to get happy about things right now, because most of the time I am just sad. But there is just something about Lucy's service that is special! I have never told her about any of this, but she somehow makes me feel happy and special when I visit Mario's! I greatly appreciate Lucy's smile and kindness.

When I place my order, I ask if I can have my dinner salad like a ceasar salad. When Lucy is my server, I get delivered a true little ceasar salad with the dressing mixed in. When Lucy isn't my server, I get delivered a little dinner salad with the ceasar dressing on the side...where I do my best trying to mix it into my salad on my own.

When I order my desert, I ask for my carrot cake to go. When Lucy is my server, I get home and open my to-go container and my piece of carrot cake with a presentation of carmel sauce drissled over the top! When Lucy isn't my server, I get home and open my to-go container to my piece of carrot cake plain.

Please know that all of the servers and staff at Mario's are very nice...but Lucy just goes above and beyond! Thank you Mario's for amazing Italian food! Thank you Lucy for providing A+ customer service!

Parking: Mario's is located off a large parking lot, which is centered in the middle of a shopping center.
