It was truly a let down to what we expected, the food was ehh, and service was horrible. Don't think we'll be back..

Under new ownership for this building the food and the service has improved dramatically. Mario's used to be my favorite spot to go to for a delicious meal, it has once again ascended to my go to restaurant. Outstanding service, great vibe and food. You can definitely hear Mario's voice beckoning you to have the largest glasses of wine in the valley. LOL

It was busy but great. My wife and I had the Egg plant parmigiana and anti pasta salad. The place is a little difficult to find for the first time. It’s in the corner behind Los Corales.

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I feel I have to. I ordered the veal Parm and my wife got the chicken Parm. The veal had to be from frozen factory, it was more breading than veal, had NO flavor (maybe that's a good thing) and was tough. The sauce was flavorless and thin; I'm quite sure it was just a bunch of canned ingredients with some dry herbs barely cooked in so none of the flavors married. The waitress was nice and tried hard to put on a "all is well" face. But when the food sucks, it sucks. Sorry but I just can't recommend this place, even for lunch (Carl Jr. is right there).

This rating is for a delivered pizza. They use Grub hub or one of those and it was lukewarmwarm. Since this may not be the fault of the restaurant, this review does not include that. The pizza was severely undercooked and was gross overall. We each ate just a few bites and threw it alway.I really hate to give a small business such a bad review but it was honestly the worst pizza I have ever eaten.

Smal local Italian restaurant chain with ample Italian dish choices and a nice selection if house wines. My Chicken Cacciatore over Fettuccine was very tasty, and the cheese cake dessert was also very good.

This review addresses the Service, not the food. While the girl who waited on my was pleasant enough, I question her training and her memory recall. 1. She brought the soup and entree out at the same time. Since I didn't want to have the pasta to get cold, I told her to take the the soup away. She blamed the timing on the kitchen. 2. I ordered meat sauce but was served marinara. Since service was slow I just ate the marinara which was served with pasta that was too el dente. 3. I had requested a refill on my soda. She delivered the check and I had to ask for the refill again. What the heck is going on at Mario's Palm Springs?

First time eating at Mario's today and here's my honest review. Location and service were nice. I ordered the mozarella marinara ( mozarella sticks with marinara dipping sauce ) and spaghetti with meat sauce ( large ) The waiting from getting my order taken to getting my order was less than 15 minutes which was great. The food arrived and the large size was indeed large. I tried the mozarella sticks and they tasted old and it had an odd taste to it once you chewed it around. I had an upset stomach from it and had to run to the bathroom when I got home. The garlic bread was also given to me and I tried it. It wasn't near the taste of an actual garlic bread. I could taste the burnt crust better than any garlic taste which was a disappointment. It had crunch at least. Now getting to the main course, the spaghetti with meatsauce. Presentation was alright. There was more pasta than the sauce and the sauce being a meat sauce, there was hardly any meat in there. I had to take a few bites and the food was bland. It had no taste whatsoever. There was no seasoning. I was going to add in some salt but I refrained from doing so. It was a bit disappointing for an Italian restaurant to serve a staple Italian dish with no taste. Nevertheless, I ate about half of it and took the rest home. 2/5 stars today.

Owner, please wake up ... the ship is sinking. We live down the street and have been coming here for years. Tonight was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had ... and it wasn't crazy busy. We had to order our drinks three times before receiving and they eventually came mid meal. Our entrees arrived (we both ordered the lasagna) and they were both cold in the middle. We never received garlic bread that came with the meal. After waiting, we finally had to pop our head in the kitchen to ask for someone to cash us out of this awful experience. This was our "go to" place for an easy meal but wow ... things have obviously gone down hill. Sad to see.

Well. We haven't had a worse meal or service in years. Party of 4. Ordered Chicken Parm (pictured) - little to no flavor & guest was afraid to eat rubbery chicken. Penne alla vodka (pictured but I've Never seen with meat & ?). 1/2 order of lasagna had to be sent back & reheated (it didn't come back until rest of party was nearly done eating). Finally we waited 30min for a check. I ended up going to front and calling the restaurant to get someone to speak with to get a check. Do not waste your time or money

On a visit to Palm Springs, my sister and I decided to stay in and order up a pizza. Not a lot of options but Mario's delivered so we ordered a Caesar salad and a 50/50 pizza - pepperoni on one side and the works on the other. The food was delivered a few minutes early. That was the only good thing. The salad was limp and the dressing tasted watered down. The pepperoni side of the pizza had roughly half the pepperoni I would have expected whereas the works side was buried in vegetables / probably twice that was necessary. The pizza sauce had an odd flavor that neither of us really liked. We were both disappointed with our meal. Maybe better at the restaurant itself.

Service was good and the restaurant is clean but that's all I can say that's good about Mario's. The caesar salad was covered in a heavy dressing that tasted like there was a good amount of mustard in it. The eggplant parmesan with the spaghetti was a disaster. The spaghetti was overcooked and soggy and the eggplant parm was under cooked. The marinara appeared to be watered down and it was flavorless. I was waiting for our service to ask us how it was but she never did.

SUPER friendly service on Valentines Day. We were in town and completely forgot it was a holiday. Delicious Veal Parmesan and Veal Piccata. Asked if I could have piccata without the marinara and server suggested to have it in its own sauce. Perfecto !!
