The place had a really nice vibe and the service was awesome—super friendly staff that made us feel welcome. Our order was messed up at first, but they made up for it, which we appreciated. Drinks were just okay; I was expecting a bit more, and the food took a while to come out. Overall, it was a decent experience. The atmosphere was great, but the menu could definitely use more variety and the food could be improved!

The Berkshire pork chop for 2 was next level. The appetizers of bone marrow and beet tartare were spot on. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in town.

Always an enjoyable experience at Mr. Lyon's. Terrific food served by an attentive staff. Plus, Maxine “Max” could be the best restaurant Manager in the Coachella Valley. Max has great people skills and knows how to work the room.

I opted to make a "flight" from several appetizers, as I wasn't too hungry, and it was a wise choice! The grilled asparagus was a standout! The Classic Wedge would have been a meal in itself. Throughout my server, other wait staff, and the manager popped by to say hello. That was really nice, because I am usually a single diner and many restaurants just want me in and out. Terrific place, highly recommend!!

Mr. Lyons is probably the best steakhouse in the Valley. Great atmosphere and fantastic service make for a great dining experience. Steaks and sides were perfectly prepared. The only sour note was the $19.00 Parker house rolls ($19.00 for six small rolls!!!) that were stale...oblivious from the night before with a failed attempt to reheat them before serving. Still, highly recommend Mr. Lyons....will be back.

As expected, the food was excellent. However, although the dining room is quite nice, it's extremely dark, which was rather annoying at times when trying to read menus and such. Also, the music was much too loud for an establishment like that as one expects to be able to have conversation without having to speak loudly to the person across the table from you. I also found the service to be awkward. Perhaps he was a new employee, but he seemed uncomfortable.

Mr. Lyons is a classic staple in Palm Springs and it's obvious why. From the moment you step inside to the time you leave you are treated like family. A.J. and Sergio were wonderfully attentive and made the birthday celebration a perfect evening. It doesn't make a difference what you order because everything is nothing short of incredible, but the 4-layer caviar dip is an excellent way to start. To complete the evening, step behind the curtain and stop by the equally amazing Seymour's!!

Our "go to spot" for special occasions. We are never disappointed; Bar lounge and restaurant dining are top notch.

This place is so good!! The service is excellent — super informative and welcoming. Honestly, it's a 1000/10. We ordered just the right amount of food: •NY steak (a must — definitely ask for it) •Baked potato •Shrimp fried rice •Corn The ambiance is incredible — romantic and perfect for a date night or special celebration.

Excellent quality food. Shrimp Cocktails for two, Parker House Rolls and a salad is enough to feed 2 people

Overcooked steak, sides were mid. Our server forgot one side so that came out halfway through the meal. Extremely noisy and could not hear across the table. Great mock tails and server was good. Will not be back, not worth the price.

Please...do NOT come to this restaurant. Stay away. If all you Yelpies/Open Tablers start flocking to this restaurant I will not be able to get in. And I LOVE coming here. The food is so good. Please stay away. My waistline thanks you.

Although the water came immediately and the runner said our server would be "right with us," it took over 20 minutes for our drink order to even be taken. This was on a Tuesday night, so perhaps their best staff were not available, but since it also wasn't crowded, this was quite off-putting. Fortunately, most of the rest of the meal was pretty good, although my companion wanted his steak more on the medium side, but it came much more on the rare side, so he couldn't eat a lot of it. The frites, however, were excellent, as were the beignets (dessert) which had a delightful, homemade quality to them. The wedge salad, shrimp cocktail and veggie wellington were also quite good. I'd be willing to go back--but wouldn't rush to do so.

From the moment we walked into Mr, Lyons, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that instantly made us feel welcome. The ambiance was both elegant and comfortable, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The service was exceptional throughout the evening Mo was attentive without being intrusive. Our server Mo was knowledgeable, offered great recommendations, and ensured every detail was taken care of with genuine care. 10 out of 10.

Excellent service, delicious food, and great ambiance. We ordered the Beef Wellington and Prime Rib and they were both perfect. Cocktails were great and we visited the speakeasy, Seymour's, after dinner and had a great experience. It was our first time here and we will be back!
