A small health food store with a lunch counter that offers plenaty of yummy vegan options. This is the best option for a vegan breakfast or lunch in Palm Springs, in my opinion.
The food here never disappoints. So fresh, tasty, healthy, and made by friendly people. The bread served is also the best of the best from a local sourdough bakery.
I was sad to no longer see their bulk bin section.
The food is absolutely delicious and nourishing. What I would not give for the recipe of their Faux chicken and salad dressing!
I ordered a vegan BLTA. It was terrible! The crumbling vegan bacon was minimally warmed up. The sourdough bread fell apart. The sandwich tasted like a poorly made vegan sandwich circa vegan food 2001. Oh, there were some blue corn tortilla chips thrown on the plate with a tiny bit of salsa. Weird combination for sure. This was my first and my last visit. I’ll stick with the better vegan sandwich options in Palm Springs. This place is gross!
Nature's Health Food & Café is trying way too hard to be a mini Whole Foods and not hard enough to be a good place to eat. On the former, their prices are sky-high (almost $8 for a can of Amy's Chili). On the latter, their kitchen is squeezed into a tiny hole in the wall, and the customers are squeezed into an even smaller, elbow-busting pair of picnic style tables in the middle of a shopping aisle. It is difficult just to move in and out of the place. The prepared food is lackluster, and the ingredients are more suited to the 'cardboard'-style vegan food of 40 years ago. I recommend you avoid ordering a sandwich, because their bread is day-old and easily crumbles. Such a shame and a missed opportunity with this place. Just a mere block and a half away there are three other vegan options that ring true.
I’ve been coming to natures health food and café for many years. I live in Columbus and it’s always my first stop. I love the RCI bowls. I love their pecan shakes. The people there are awesome anytime I need help getting a supplement or something. They’re always there to help. I love the patio to sit and relax and enjoy the good food on
As a brand new Palm Springs resident; it took me passing by a few times before I noticed this groovy little store/cafe tucked into a strip center near Ralphs Supermarket.
I am so glad i didn’t pass them by today, but instead stopped for a healthy and filling lunch.
The Veggie burger and side of potatoes were well seasoned, with great flavor and quite filling. The staff was friendly and the store seemed to have a great mix of natural and healthy products. An appealing patio awaits when the temps drop down under 100😉
A great find. I’ll be back!

We had a black bean burger and the tofu salad. They were delicious and fresh. The burger was not greasy and honestly made. Very flavorful. Nice cafe and polite and helpful staff
Amazing vegan drinks. Date shakes are really good. Staff is very friendly.

Nature’s Health Food and Cafe is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Palm Springs! Their vegan options are absolutely delicious and full of flavor, and you can really taste the quality of the organic, fresh ingredients in every bite. What makes this place even more special is the warm, family-owned vibe – many of the employees have been here for years, and they genuinely care about their customers. It feels like you’re walking into a little community co-op where everyone knows your name. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and unique, with a market full of natural and healthy products that perfectly complement the café’s menu. Whether you’re grabbing a quick smoothie, a hearty vegan meal, or stocking up on organic goodies, you can feel good about every purchase. This spot is everything you could want – amazing food, wonderful people, and a true local treasure. If you’re in Palm Springs, do yourself a favor and stop by. Nature’s Café and Market is the kind of place you’ll fall in love with and want to come back to again and again! 💚
got the club sandwich. so good, probably one of the best vegan sandwiches i’ve ever eaten. also, the cashier guy with a mustache helped me charge my phone in the back while i ate. super cool guy. great establishment.
Best health food store in the valley. Lots of vitamins, skin care, refrigerated and bulk foods. Shakes are reasonably priced and really good. Nice shaded area outside to enjoy purchased food. I will definitely be back.
love this place! I had the couscous and sweet potato chili and that was so tasty. ate it all. The vegan Cvechie was surprisingly good as well. but I love chickpeas so I might be partial. The seamoss smoothie I fell in love with. Best smoothie ever!
