If you don't eat French/Belgian food don't eat here!!!! As my first time there looking over the menu I found the only thing that didn't sound disgusting, I ordered the tiger shrimp pasta, my first mistake was not sending it back! I did not finish my plate but Bye the time I got home to LA and got settled in is when my nightmare started. I puked my guts out all night! When I called to let them know...? they said well you should've have sent it back! Stupid Dumbass I should have never walked into this lame excuse for a restaurant! Maybe the idiot morons In charge should check the food before it goes out? Maybe hire someone that knows HOW TO COOK THE DAMN SHRIMP! I didn't understand why my wife LOVED THIS PLACE SO MUCH! The French Onion Soup was nothing to write home about absolutely bland, I've definitely had better and the crème brûlée was the worst I've ever had!! The idiot making it was more worried about burning the sugar on top than the actual recipe! I was raised in a kitchen to working in one of the top ten restaurants in the country, I Love to eat. Maybe it's the French/Belgian cuisine that is bland or boring! Sorry but the food here absolutely sucked! One of the Worst Food Experiences I've Ever Had! If you're not familiar or not from Belgium Do Not Eat Here!

We won't return. Have been dining here for at least 15 years when visiting the desert and recommending it to others. Because we didn't order an appetizer, our meal took over an hour to be served. This was what I was told by the owner after expressing my concerns. Not all the mussels were open in our meals - not a good sign.

Love Pomme Frite. We always go several times during our time here in the desert. Our annual lunch on our first day is one of our favorite traditions. This year did not disappoint. We had steak tartare, salad Lyonnaise and Croque Monsieur. Paired with a bottle of crisp white wine it was the perfect start to vacation. we always come back for dinner several times. Their pate, the French onion soup, the mussels and fish dishes are always top-notch. They often have daily specials which are worth investigating. Our favorite waiters are Mark or Willie, but all servers are excellent. Whenever our favorite stops in Palm Springs when we are here.

The special of the day was an artichoke and it was outstanding. I hadn't had one for years. The onion soup was great but we had only ordered one. We said nothing. The mussels were very small. All in all I would go back.

We have been here once before. It is such an excellent experience. Ate outside in a beautiful evening. Our service was excellent as was the food. Escargot, drunken mussels, and steak tartare. It felt like we were in Paris. Highly recommended.

This is our second time dining here. Both times for lunch, one year apart. I highly recommend making reservations. The first time we went was during modernism week, no reservations and we had to wait forever for a table. This time, with the reservation, we didn't wait at all. If the weather is nice, be sure and ask for a table on the restaurant terrace. The terrace has heaters, and a covering so you will not get sunburned. They do have outdoor tables on the sidewalk, but there is a ton of walkers on Palm Canyon along with their dogs and children. It's not as special experience to dine on the sidewalk. We love the steak tartare, mussels and fries, and frog legs. Enjoy!

Our server Dimitri was excellent! We had great lunch at this gem of a French restaurant. Loved the Croque Madame sandwiches and they even had Floating Islands for dessert which are impossible to find. Highly recommend this place!

Our waiter was very professional and attentive. The overall atmosphere and food are average. Not bad just not the best I have ever had.

We really enjoyed the Belgian beer selection and the Steak Frites. The quality of the steak was excellent for the price. Our server was great. We ate on the covered front patio which was perfect on a spring day.

We shared the escargot which were fabulous. My husband had the wonderful lamb stew special and I had the trout almond inedible special. Both were fantastic. That plus top notch service makes this one of our favorite restaurants.

This was our first time dining here. The food was amazing. I had the mussels and pomme frites. My daughter and I shared the baked Brie while my husband had the French onion soup. I don't recall their entrees, but my 14 year old daughter asked if we could come back again tomorrow!

Very good food combined with excellent service. The service provided by our waiter and the other staff assisting was significantly better than one expects at most restaurants of similar caliber. I was impressed. The only downside was that our visit here reminded my spouse and I how good the food and beer was in Belgium when we visited there. We're going to have to go back, to both Pomme Frite and Belgium and the latter trip will be more expensive than a trip to Pomme Frite.
