Excellent restaurant in all ways but one, they have a one stall restroom, it would take 15 minutes to wait and it highly disrupted our dining experience for a group dinner. I won't go back until this is addressed.

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. The outside ambiance was perfect. Server was friendly and checked in frequently. Every item was beautiful and well balanced. We primarily ate maki and enjoyed them all.

The food is really innovative and delicious. You've got to try the Lobster Zucchini Blossoms and the Tuna Tostadas...Yum! Our server was so helpful and knowledgeable. The 25% off coupon we received in the mail made the meal a good value!

We had a wonderful dinner-as a party of five, we love being under the party lights and the patio was perfect! Great service and the food is always the best-we love Sandfish! Thanks for a great evening and a wonderful meal-we will be back soon!

Very good food, but what really made the experience stand out was the service. From the start - with only 15 minutes to go until it ended, the person who seated us pointed out the Happy Hour menu and the excellent offers it included. Every dollar saved is a huge deal in restaurants these days, and we ordered drinks and dishes we probably otherwise would not have tried. Our server was outstanding, and made the evening. Overall, a really enjoyable evening.

Had to wait to be seated even though in time for reservation. Once we were called, outdoor was even more of a wait (what was originally reserved). We sat inside. Waiter was excellent but service slow at times.

We had a wonderful experience with the waiter Josh attending to us every step of the way. Delicious food and great service.

Clean, fresh, delicious. Thank you, Joshua! Best sushi in the desert. Yellowtail collar, Santa Barbara Uni, salmon sashimi. Stellar saki. Love it here.

Absolute disspointment. Ambiance is in the containers, service weak and not attentive while staff would clean up plates from tables before you finish eating. Food was not good at all. i would not recommend it

If it wasn't so pricy I would give it a 5 star review but $500 for 4 people, only 3 having 1 drink each is just a bit much for me. The service was terrific, friendly and knowledgable. Our server helped us explore new tastes in food and drink that we never would have tried without help. The food is terrific. High quality, complex and layered flavors with super fresh fish. I loved that there are great choices for non sushi eaters as well that are just as interesting. Overall a great place just too expensive for us anyway to go on a regular basis.

I tried this restaurant several years ago and was unimpressed. My son is visiting me and wanted sushi or Japanese food. I decided to give it a second chance. He thought his chicken katsu was just average. My short rib bao was likewise ok but not amazing. I don't think I will ever go there again.

Food is fine, but underwhelming for the price. The steamed pork buns are a huge disappointment (very little flavor in the pork). Their signature Sandfish Maki is fine, but not great. The standout was our server. Attentive and great.

This was our second time at Sandfish and definitely will be our last. The first time we sat inside. Much better experience all around. We decided to go again and this time we sat outside. There was a DJ (so much reverb, so LOUD) blasting inescapable music. Made talking so difficult. The fish was cut well but the nigiri wasn't great quality, and it was insanely expensive. Like NOBU prices. We dropped $175 (without drinks) and left hungry. Just not worth it.

Our server Josh was fantastic! Extremely friendly and made food recommendations that were spot on.
