Beautiful location for a starbucks cafe. Spacious with great vibes, and great drinks. Love the outdoor seating available and the great downtown area.

Rude staff. The Mexican woman who made our drinks was extremely rude. We stood by the pick up counter and waited for our drinks. Our order included a cup of water for our child. When she placed the water on the counter, my friend reached out to grab the water, and this Mexican woman who painted her face ghostly white and painted eyebrows with sharpies asked my friend rudely if we paid for those drinks. My friend said yes we did, and the label clearly states my name, this woman replied in a harsh tone of voice that we can not take the drinks until all the drinks were made. We’ve literally never been treated so poorly at a Starbucks before, let alone at a flagship store. This store needs to train their employees on how to treat their customers with basic courtesy.

I am a loyal Starbucks customer for over 20 years. I always visit a Starbucks anytime I travel throughout the USA. Customer service is normally close to 100% satisfaction. This time in Palm Springs visiting for the Pride parade. I stopped by, my wife ordered coffee, I explained I needed a cup of water to take some medication. I was told the only water they had for sale was in a plastic bottle. I explained I just needed enough water to swallow a tablet. I asked to purchase a cup of ice and was told they do not sell ice. I asked for a soda, but requested to hold off on the cola. Was told no they only sell soda and ice together. Unfortunately the young man has a lot to learn about customer service. But wait, if this is store policy, then I say. If you don't know what you are doing, get help. If you don't get help, then get out of the way because someone is about to take your business. Luck us, we have so many alternatives to get great coffee from good people.

Google Maps was finally updated saying its open and has hours! Original Post: Google Maps says it’s Temporarily Closed but it was remodeled and reopened months ago. Go ahead and stop by! Nice place to sit at the patio, have a coffee, and people watch. On nights with Villagefest there usually is live music in the public space just outside.
Update 3 years later! It used to be a cool spot with bar seating and coffee tastings. Now it’s a shell of its former self. Empty and depressing. At least its coffee is still ok and the staff is friendly as ever. It shows the sad decline of Starbucks over these past couple of years.

Graham, I assume the manager, at Palm Springs N, gets 0 stars. We have come to this Starbucks every morning and ALL the ladies are super nice,friendly and give awesome service. 5***** Graham on the other hand was less than polite and chewed out his staff for something completely unnecessary. Being a restaurant owner myself, this is absolutely no way to deal with staff and guests. It was super uncomfortable.

I went here to get two cold lattes to cool off from the heat. The worker was kind about educating us about how this location is not a Starbucks Reserve location, contrary to what Google Maps shows. After we put in our order for our lattes, we were also offered water, which was also thoughtful.
I liked how the sinks are outside of the bathroom area and allow for guests to use without having to enter an actual bathroom stall. The sink water is a hot, so be cautious, especially if you have kids!
