We got two simple Smash Burgers and a side of fries. Although the burgers were tasty and the fries were crispy and warm. I expected larger portions for what you are paying. The portions definitely don't match the prices. The burgers were very small, almost child size and they do not come with a side or a drink. You have to buy that separately. We spent over $50 for two small Burgers and one side of fry to share.

Mediocre burger at best. The burger patty was very thin, and plain. The basic burger comes with a few pieces of shredded lettuce, American cheese sauted onions and 1000 island dressing. They don’t offer tomatoes so there was no way to improve it. Dijon mustard, no, anything but American cheese, no, dill pickles, no. They said they make their own dill pickles but there were sweet pickles. Yuck. And then let’s talk about the fries. I am pretty sure they were the basic crinkled fries. And they were over $7.00 for a small service! The whole experience was disappointing at best. The bill was $50.00 for 2 basic burgers, one double burger ,one small fries and no drinks. Next time we will go to 5 Guys and get a good burger with all of the toppings we want at no extra charge, real French fries and free peanuts. Hey Day was very disappointing.

The salad was like super aight. Flavorful but I didn’t really want to finish it.

We knew that being sent to The Hey Day from TikTok was going to be good, but after checking out the mixed reviews, we weren't quite sure what to expect. The restaurant is small, but the decor is vibrant and very Palm Springs. Plus, they offer parking in the back. Now, for the highlight of this review. We tried the Smash Single, the Western Double, and an order of fries and onion rings. The burgers were packed with flavor and not as greasy as typical burgers. The onion rings were crispy and bursting with flavor. The fries were crispy and fresh—honestly, the perfect fries, with each one perfectly crispy and fluffy inside. The meat patties were excellent, with crispy edges but no burnt pieces. The bacon on the Western Burger was cooked to perfection. This would definitely be a go-to place for us. Plus the staff was so so pleasant and felt very welcomed.

My husband and I just got married and drove all the way from Florida on a roadtrip and after a long drive this really hit the spot by far one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while! Service was great and the restaurant was a beautiful place as well!
