Another amazing night of over-the-top food and drinks (highly recommend the best short ribs I've ever had and Frank's Last Word Bourbon cocktail). Got lucky, it's Wednesday and the Michael Holmes Trio Michael, Darcy Charles) and the house band with keys-upright bass-drums brought back The Rat Pack favieites. There is no other Supper Club more authentic in vibe, music, and food, than Michael Holmes Purple Room. They even have great jazz on Tuesday and Thursday (crazy good 3-course), ticketed events Friday and Saturday, and The Judy Show on Sunday. Michael and his staff cater to all guests, for the oerfect Palm Springs Experience. Make your reservations!!
Heather at the front desk was amazing. Linda out server was spot on. We had a party of 8 and this was our second time at the Purple Room. We come to Palm Springs yearly and will surely make this part of our traditions! The entertainment Rat Pack Night is entertainment you can't come by easily today paired with a dinner. Intimate atmosphere Great Food and Drinks. Great Staff and a job well done. Thank you to everyone at the Purple Room
Seated right on time. Our waitress Linda was professional & helpful. Duck confit excellent, chicken parmesan excellent but our guest does not recommend the Boulabaise. Cocktails were perfect! Rat Pack program is dynamite! Highly recommend!
Food was reasonable, due to date night special. The music was too loud sitting upfront. Service was exceptional.
We did the prix fix dinner and was pleasantly surprised - the ahi tuna appetizer was amazing!!! And large! Had chicken parm for entree and banana pastry for dessert. We did the date night Thursday. This is a great value and a cool old school place to go!
Had a lovely time at The Purple Room, our second time here. We appreciated their recognition of our anniversary and enjoyed the show very much. Food was also lovely. We will return next time we're in Palm Springs!
My first time to the Purple Room as a new resident to Coachella Valley. I had met Rose Mallett and whom I learned about the Purple Room from. Four of us attended her dinner show and had a fabulous time! The service was wonderful and our waitress (wish I remembered her name) was very attentive and sweet. Rose has an amazing voice and a true artist, so make sure you go see her! We really enjoyed all our meals and cocktails and wines by the glass too. I will definitely return!
It's a great venue for appetizers drinks and entertainment. Rose Mallett and Band were awesome. The food wasn't that great. Didn't care for the dinner but was forced to order because I had made a dinner reservation. It was 7 in our party celebrating 2 birthdays.
Great ambiance and food although expensive. Service was great. However, the show is strictly for retired people. You will not understand a single reference or joke if you’re in your 20s-30. Also dinner should not be required. If I want to eat somewhere before the show and stop in as soon as the performance starts, that should be allowed.
We had a wonderful evening at the Purple Room. The food was delicious, our waiter Alex wonderful and the entertainment great.

Always a fantastic experience at the Purple Room. The food is always good, the drinks are always excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect!
If you can be unhappy here, you can be unhappy everywhere. Seriously. This is such a classy place.
This was our third time at the Purple Room and first time catching the Judy Show. Feels like stepping back in time to the supper club era. We really enjoyed the show, but full disclosure it’s geared towards an older crowd. Michael Holmes, the creator and star of the show, is great. There’s audience engagement and lots of humor.
The cocktails are fantastic and keeping with the overall ambiance. Service staff is top notch. Our group of four felt that the food wasn’t quite up to par tho. Could be because it’s early season and the kitchen may be getting its stride. Portions are generous. We shared a carrot cake slice for dessert and polished it off!
We are lucky to live near the Purple room and look forward to visiting again to check out other entertainers. It’s a special venue that’s unique to Palm Springs.
The Purple Room is a wonderful, intimate venue with an old school vibe. I had the privilege of seeing Lucie Arnaz perform and it was AMAZING. I enjoyed the food and drinks, and the service was prompt and pleasant. I would highly recommend visiting this extraordinary venue to anyone who enjoys great entertainment and fantastic food
