Classic Tiki Bar in downtown Palm Springs. The balcony is a great place to sip and watch what's going on down on the street. The drinks are on point, the decor is perfect for the concept, and the staff are all very knowledgeable about the Tiki lifestyle. An absolute must to visit when in Palm Springs!

Tiki bar in Palm Springs, our friend recommended and it was a great little spot to pop in for a drink. We sat outside to enjoy the weather and had a nice view overlooking Palm Springs drive. Stop by next time you're in Palm Springs for pina colada!

This restaurant is ass. We had a waiter who was so rude, seemed extremely rushed, and gave us attitude when taking our order. It took at least 15 minutes for someone to even take our drink order. My friends and I weren't excited for a night on the town, this place was our 1st stop and immediately ruined it for us, we will not be returning, ever.

One of my favorite Tiki Bars! I love the pain killers. The food is pretty good as well, but it is smaller portions of Bar Food. I like that they serve classic cocktails, not just new "inventions", or the drink of the week. It's a good place to go if you are looking for more "authentic" Tiki Bar experiences.

Possibly the worst service I’ve ever had at any restaurant anywhere. Zero stars and will never return or recommend.

The round of drinks we got were delicious but we never received our second round and were charged for it. Took a long time to find anyone who would stop to assist w the correction so that was a bummer.

What an awesome experience there atmosphere was like no other our server and Kevin was so nice to me and my wife that is blind Kevin the owner was nice enough to give us a tour of the skirt room there it took time out of his way to help my wife that can't see to feel all the tiki statues and velvet tiki paintings and the food that we ate was so good, and the drinks are so cool, they have tiki names to them

Stopped in here after walking around the neighborhood for a while. The drinks were amazingly good. We had a great seat overlooking the street. My only problem was trying to find our server for about 15-20 minutes when we wanted to pay and leave. The service, up until we couldn't find our server anymore, was great. However, other employees made up for it. I wish I got names, but one guy was very helpful when we could no longer find her (our server). Drinks were terrific, even the non-alcoholic drinks.

If you like Piña Coladas and getting caught in the desert sun, you need to visit this location. They offer a variety of fruity and nutty drinks. They are located on the second floor where you can be seated on the outdoor patio. This patio overlooks the main strip of Palm Springs. The location inside is very intimate and dark. They have a lot of island inspire aesthetics to make you feel like you aren't in the desert. You do have to climb some stairs to get in, so walk carefully on your way back down. They do serve food but I didn't have the pleasure to order any.The staff is very welcoming and are sort of characters. We had a fun waiter with some playful banter while he took our orders. We were seated right away with no wait time, but I have seen this place full on busy days.I recommend the Kraken the Dole Whip. Its a Tonga Hut orginal. A mix of pineapple, vanilla rum, macadamia nut, and coconut. Very delicious and refreshing that I had to order a second one.

Tonga Hut was quite poppin' on our first night in Palm Springs. I was craving a burger after our flight and this was the closest spot which was also walking distance from our hotel. We were seated fairly quickly and were then forgotten about. Once our server did show up, we quickly placed our orders. I ordered the Pork Sliders and my co-worker ordered the regular sliders. We shared one of each with fries. The regular hamburger sliders were delicious. The shredded pork sliders were not at all flavorful. Our drinks were refreshing. I ordered a cocktail with Gin. But nothing to rave about. The tables were sticky, the furniture was dated, and the dim lighting was not at all romantic. The food was decent. I should have stuck to regular sliders.

I love everything tiki. And when I ran into this place in Palm Springs, I could not pass it up. Delicious tiki drinks. The Mai Tai is from the original recipe, not your cruise ship version. The bartenders are hilarious. The company at the bar is magnificent.

Yet another gem in the realm of tiki bars. In my personal hierarchy of reviews, tiki establishments that offer tiki-style cuisine earn bonus points. The lokomoko and pupu platter here are absolutely delightful, transporting you back to the nostalgic era of 1960. The theming at this establishment is superb. With its dimly lit ambiance and midcentury touches, it truly feels like stepping back in time. Although there's a cool patio bar overlooking Palm Springs' main drag, I personally prefer the cozy indoor setting. Service is consistently excellent, although there may be a wait during peak hours. Planning ahead is key, but rest assured, the experience is well worth it. Without a doubt, this ranks among my top-tier tiki bars and is a must-visit destination.

Sadly, this has seen better days. Truly awful bartenders have taken over the place and laced it with their poor attitude. Shame, as the owner seems ok, but has allowed the inmates to take over the asylum.

The Tonga hat is like a third place in downtown Palm Springs. Lots of little cubbies and places to chat and the decor is visually stunning.
