The Tropicale Palm Springs

Food was just okay, with some of it arriving warm, but not hot. Service was slower than usual and it wasn't even particularly full or busy, especially for a Friday night. We had to wave down the waiter several times. Not a bad experience. Just not what it used to be. It's still a nice venue and good ambience.

Drinks were crazy expensive! We've dined here several times and this time the music was so loud you could not have a normal conversation. Also, the noise coming from the bar was excessive.

Great atmosphere and vibe. Fantastic cocktails. We had the crispy fried chicken and the chicken parm. Both excellent.

We had the best experience. Our server was delightful and so helpful. Food was delicious, drinks were yummy. Hostess was lovely. 5 star night

Tropicale's hospitality driven by Ashley always exceeds our expectations! Ashley goes out of her way to notice things before they're even mentioned or requested and we leave feeling like we matter and that our business is appreciated. We will continue to support Tropicale and refer others to this amazingly managed establishment as well!

We met some locals on our first night in town and they said The Tropicale was quintessential Palm Springs. It was an awesome and festive spot to celebrate our 24th anniversary. We had a lovely booth with a great view of the bar and the service was so good and friendly. We loved our drinks. We loved the warm welcome from the hostess, and we loved our food, the date and pancetta appetizer, the firecracker shrimp, The steak with the horseradish cream on the potato was to die for.  We had such a nice time. We wound up there the following night after barely being able to move after a wonderful spa experience just a block away from The Tropical. The hostess recognized us right away from the night before and welcomed us so graciously. They made us feel like regulars. We'll be back.

Our first time here. We were pleasantly surprised how delicious and plentiful the food was. The crispy nori ahi tuna roll was shared by 3 of us and was outstanding. Put this on your list for dinner!!!

Have been coming here since it opened. Great food and atmosphere. In my top five in the Coachella valley.

Greg is the best server ever! He makes the experience so fun, he has the best sense of humor and he remembered me from a year ago!! Not only do we love the food, drinks and atmosphere, we will go back to see him!

Sat inside...the decor and menu hasn't changed much in 10 years and could use a refresh. Has outside seating and both an inside and outside bar. Had the Vietnamese and Chinese salads. Both were delicious and big enough to share. Server was very pleasant.

We were celebrating a birthday and as always, it was the best experience great food and cool ambience !

A couple of out of town Texans looking to get the full Palm Spring experience. This restaurant deserves a strong 5 star rating from service, to their fantastic drinks, amazing dinner, and exceptional desserts. Highly recommend this restaurant as first stop off the plane. 10 out of 10.

Our hotel manager said, “I know it sounds weird, but trust me and order the lamb meatballs”. He was soooo right.

But even before we ordered we were greeted so well by Blanca, who seated us and periodically checked on us.

Our server Daman, gave us above and beyond great service!!! He made drink and dinner suggestions that truly led to us having an exceptional experience.

We had the spicy mango mojito, lamb meatballs and chicken parmigiana.

If we have time left on this trip, we will definitely be back.
