Food was just okay, with some of it arriving warm, but not hot. Service was slower than usual and it wasn't even particularly full or busy, especially for a Friday night. We had to wave down the waiter several times. Not a bad experience. Just not what it used to be. It's still a nice venue and good ambience.
Tropicale's hospitality driven by Ashley always exceeds our expectations! Ashley goes out of her way to notice things before they're even mentioned or requested and we leave feeling like we matter and that our business is appreciated. We will continue to support Tropicale and refer others to this amazingly managed establishment as well!
We met some locals on our first night in town and they said The Tropicale was quintessential Palm Springs. It was an awesome and festive spot to celebrate our 24th anniversary. We had a lovely booth with a great view of the bar and the service was so good and friendly. We loved our drinks. We loved the warm welcome from the hostess, and we loved our food, the date and pancetta appetizer, the firecracker shrimp, The steak with the horseradish cream on the potato was to die for....
