About Wang's In the Desert
Wang's In the Desert Reviews
The place looks run down. They made a huge mistake when they took out the bamboo in front of the building. They need to class it up. Spot lights shinning up on the palm trees would help. They use to have tacky Christmas lights on the building year round. I don't know if anyone who goes there. I thought they finally went out of business. If they don't fix it up, it won't surprise me if they close for good.
Menu
Wang's In the Desert is a renowned restaurant that has recently reopened in Palm Springs. The quality and taste of the food are consistently excellent, with the same skilled chef from before the closure. The menu offers a variety of flavorful dishes, including a shrimp and chicken combo, Mongolian Beef, Chicken Fried Rice, and Korean BBQ Ribs. While some customers find the prices steep compared to the portion sizes, many have enjoyed the big enough portions to have a second meal from leftovers. The decor features a lovely Asian theme, complete with a wonderful stream of water flowing through the center. Food is served hot and steaming, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience. Although the service time needs improvement, the bartender provides excellent cocktails, and the staff are described as fun and personable. Overall, Wang's In the Desert is worth a visit for those seeking fresh, well-balanced cuisine in the heart of Palm Springs.
