Went in and it was 60° inside. WTF Didn't stay. Whoever met us was certainly unconcerned.

The food is ok. The burgers are fine. We go for the music not the food. Like any Jazz club it's not organized for fine dining. The Stanley Butler band is outstanding. Don't miss it if you like to dance and get down.

Our friend suggested we come for Motown Monday knowing we'd be here on a golf getaway. I made a reservation for party of eight at 5:30pm as music would begin at 6:30pm. We arrived promptly at 5:30pm. Our table was ready. My name & time was written on a Post-It & left on the table. The server initiated the request to allow four separate checks. That was very nice of her. Hubby ordered the rib eye steak dinner plate & I ordered Woody chopped salad with steak. His steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. My chopped salad with steak was perfect. Plenty of crisp lettuce with a tangy dressing. Hubby was surprised I ordered a salad but it was exactly what I wanted to eat. I'd come again just to have that again. I wished I got the name of our server. She was super efficient and very thoughtful. She kept refilling our water glasses knowing we were going to stay for the show & might be dancing. As much as we enjoyed the band only two of our eight got on the dance floor.

I never leave Yelp reviews, but honestly this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. I'm only writing because we were so misled from the other reviews. I have no idea how they have 4 stars. We started with a horrible and dry salad, which set the tone for the entre. We ordered steak, potatoes, and veggies. Should be simple enough. Literally it was as off they just threw all the old food from the day onto our plate. Also the service was slow and horrible. They charged us $2.50 for a slice of bread. Okay thank you for reading my vent and please save yourself the frustration.

I hate that this is my first review. Woody's is a place that we have enjoyed for several years. The food was usually decent and the entertainment was great, but our most recent visit was so bad that I feel compelled to write a review in hopes that it may help Woody's return to its previous level of entertainment and service. I got the Mesquite BBQ Chicken ($24) and my wife got the Ribeye ($39). The chicken was very dry and the breast was inedible. When I tried cutting the breast it just crumbled. The wing, thigh, and leg were still dry, but not as bad. The two sides I ordered with the chicken were the man n cheese and baked beans. The beans were tasty, but I could not eat the Mac. The noodles were terribly overcooked and I don't know what was in the sauce, but it didn't taste like cheese, and seemed more like milk with a little food coloring. I asked my wife to taste it and she couldn't believe they would serve that concoction. My wife's ribeye was ordered medium-well, but the edges were well-done and the middle was medium-rare. The steak was not tender at all, and was certainly not a $39 steak (we've had better at Norm's). The worst thing on her plate was the baked potato. It was literally the size of an egg. I can't believe they would serve such an embarrassing potato. We were there for an hour and a half and our drinks (Diet Coke) were never refilled and nobody ever inquired about our meal. The restaurant seems very understaffed and we were served by the owner. Finally, the entertainment, which has always been a highlight, has gone downhill as well. When we first started going to Woody's there was a singer backed by a three piece band (keyboard, drums, bass), but now we got a keyboard player and a singer (who also played chords on a small keyboard). The two of them were fine musicians, but couldn't replicate the sound of previous years. We will probably return to Woody's at some point in hopes that things have improved. I will update the review when things are better.

Didn't have to wait for a seat. Great food, the Philly Cheese Steak and the Buffalo chicken wings. Live music was a hit! Great band. Spacious place, more adult atmosphere more than family style at night.plenty of parking behind the restaurant.

Wife and I had a wonderful time. Awesome food for a decent price and the live music was fantastic

This review is specifically for James and for the amazing band. We came in on a Monday night after finding there were no other spots with live music that night. James was our bartender/server and he was so professional and knowledgable. He exuded kindness and care for his job. Thank you so much for the dancing and great service!

I can't believe I paid $50 for a bland ribeye, soggy veggies and a "chopped" salad that was basically just half of a red onion.

Entertainment was good. Service was very good. Food unremarkable. But try to say hello to the lead singer to compliment her being very courteous. She does not even acknowledge you. Cannot support that. What’s the point of the venue? Won’t be back. Better food elsewhere. More people oriented entertainers elsewhere.

Loved the food and the service was great! Definitely a place to dine at. Next time we visit Palm Springs we will eat here.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this establishment. We stumbled upon Woody's looking for a late dinner in Palm Springs with our two kids. We were greeted immediately upon entering by a very nice gentleman. He ended up also serving us and checking on us several times. The food was actually pretty good and they had good live music as well. The vibe was really calm and pleasant. We ordered firecracker shrimp, burnt ends, teriyaki chicken wings, fish and chips, and a fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Oh, and their in-house brewed Mexican lager, which was very crisp and refreshing. The beer batter on their shrimp and their fish was really tasty, crunchy and light. My 1 year old shared the fettuccine with me and we both loved it. They added rosemary which was different, but I actually liked it and surprisingly the baby did too. My 6 year old demolished his burnt ends and was really happy with their bbq. My husband finished all of his fish and chips. We'll definitely come back if we're in the area again. The service was outstanding.

The service was far best. Food needs improvement. But if I have no choice where to eat, i'll comeback for the muscle dish and that's all. Half a chicken i order looks like a quail chicken and so tough. I believe they need to improve on the cooking. The band musician was a plus.
