We'd not ever been to the Palmdale Black Bear Diner. It was a wonderful as the Yucca Valley Black Bear Diner and the Barstow Black Bear Diner. The food was very good, and the service was really good as well. It was a happy atmosphere, too.

I have been to several locations and today was the absolute worst experience. The wait was ridiculous, I felt the hostess seated others before us who came after us, the wait for our waitress to order was too long, she dropped off the food and didn't return. She walked by several times and seemed to treat us a bit differently than others around us. I asked another employee for a to go box and then she decided to bring our check. She would not look at me or speak to me yet she thought it was okay to speak only to my husband who was also annoyed with her rudeness. Maybe y'all need to hire other demographics and not just your own because I see a lot of racism within your establishment. Your waitress should be asking us what else can I get for you and not us asking for what we need to another employee who is randomly walking by. I would rather drive down to Valencia to eat than to ever go back to this location. One more thing, your crapp orange juice is not worth almost $7 dollars, that is disgusting. I will be calling corporate for a full refund for today's crappy experience.

The food was great. We had the fried chicken with coleslaw, and fries and a bear breakfast with the hot italian sausage with a cream waffle. Briana (Hopefully I spelled her name correctly. She wore glasses, had twists and is black) was great! She seemed to really help the food get out. She saw the orders piling up and started passing them out to the right severs helping ppl get their food even more quickly when it was moving a bit slow before. Before she came I watched my plate sit there for at least 10 mins.

Amazing food and the service is awesome!!! Excellent prices not an expensive menu here. Where else can you get a meal basket bundle for $11.00 with bottomless drink refills? The Cheeseburger Basket Bundle was flavorful and juicy not dried out like at fast food restaurants. The fries were Delicious!! And so was their Ranch Dressing. The Hamburger Bun was buttered and toasted which is my favorite way to eat a burger and all of the Veggies and Condiments are fresh and taste Amazing!!! The Oreo milkshake is Awesome!!! I will be bringing my whole family here to eat.

This is the first time my family and I decided to try something different so we came here and upon arrival we were told there would be a 5 minute wait but that turned into 25 minutes. Then we were seated remind you this is our first time so we were unaware about the news paper menus. Lol The portion size of the food was great but my issue was hair in my daughter food and white hair in my son’s food. When asked about it the waitress said it was the towel that they put over the food. ( wait what) overall the service was terrible and the food. No comment. My family and I will not be returning here. We didn’t even get an apology for their inconvenience. Look somewhere else and if you do dine here watch out for the hair in your food.

Worst black bear me an my family have been. Servers are have horrible people skills. Also they seat people they can’t serve or attend they don’t have the capacity of restaurant skills attend everyone they seat a can’t seem to operate properly. Once I was sat down after 45 minutes, we didn’t see a server to even get our drink order in for 30 minutes I have to get up an ask the hostess if we even where assigned a server. When server finally arrived a food was ordered took another 1 hour for our food to come. Food was cold and not what we had ordered had to send things back for being wrong an had to wait another 30 minutes for the replacement food. Cannot make this up I have a still work in the food industry a cannot believe this is run like this. The restaurant was not even full for that to be an excuse tragedy that it’s a black bear dinner as we have enjoyed food a service in these restaurants before won’t be coming back to this location. Very sad as it’s the closer to my home.

Waited 20 minutes for a table. When I finally did get a table,the breakfast was stone cold. The girls that were waiting on tables were polite, but they were ran off of their feet. Way under staffed. The food was terrible
