We'd not ever been to the Palmdale Black Bear Diner. It was a wonderful as the Yucca Valley Black Bear Diner and the Barstow Black Bear Diner. The food was very good, and the service was really good as well. It was a happy atmosphere, too.

I have been to several locations and today was the absolute worst experience. The wait was ridiculous, I felt the hostess seated others before us who came after us, the wait for our waitress to order was too long, she dropped off the food and didn't return. She walked by several times and seemed to treat us a bit differently than others around us. I asked another employee for a to go box and then she decided to bring our check. She would not look at me or speak to me yet...

The food was great. We had the fried chicken with coleslaw, and fries and a bear breakfast with the hot italian sausage with a cream waffle. Briana (Hopefully I spelled her name correctly. She wore glasses, had twists and is black) was great! She seemed to really help the food get out. She saw the orders piling up and started passing them out to the right severs helping ppl get their food even more quickly when it was moving a bit slow before. Before she came I watched my plate...
