Good food and service and atmosphere

Only because I need to put a 1 star but this place deserves a no star at all . My husband and I were about to walk in and my daughter had a bag and the waitress yells there’s no outside food allowed !!!! from across the room with out even knowing what was in the bag !!! Very unprofessional very unwelcoming and absolutely embarrassing having everyone one in the restaurant turn around and look at us !!!! I had ate here before and the quality of the food was absolutely very poor, but I decided to give it another try since I like to support small businesses but after this incident for sure I won’t be going there . I did talk to the owner and the girl and told her next time be more professional instead of yelling from across the room .

I ordered a burrito that was so salty and greasy I couldn’t eat it at all. We also got pancakes and they were so burnt. The scrambled eggs were runny as well. Just not good at all.

Love coming for breakfast. Quaint spot that definitely deserves foot traffic.

The Chilaquiles were delicious but spicy. The side of salsa was an added kick, but I couldn’t resist the homemade flavor.
The French toast is my wife’s favorite.
We also had the rice pudding as a dessert. It wasn’t sweet enough for my taste so I added a little sugar.
This place is a quiet gem.

Great local cafe with all the comfort food you’d want

Came in today and had a bad experience.
We usually come every/every other Sunday,
We are usually help by the young lady Sofia (she is great). Although she helped us today the old man brought out the waters & coffee and my 4 year old said "thank you!" He replied with "I didn't bring you anything" with a rude attitude
I thought he was joking or something but he was not.
Then when the food came out he brought out pancakes and my kid said "thank you" again
And what does this old dude say "This plate isn't yours" again with an attitude.
I'm not sure what wrong with that guy but we will never step foot in this place again.
We have been going for over 2.5 years Sofia has been nothing but nice to us especially to our child.
I think him and his daughter are over it,
I've seen her talk to other guest in a rude manner too...
If you want to come here make sure it's a Sunday morning when you will get good service.
We literally would drive from LA to eat here
But will not let a grumpy old man talk to my child in that manner or tone.
At the age of 4 we teach kids manners, as they are developing social skills.
Our child loves to socialize, we teach him to be kind, thank you for giving us an example to show him of how we should not be/act.

Kid-friendliness: The old man is super unfriendly to kids,

The truth is that it is a place that I began to frequent because of its excellent human quality, in addition to very delicious dishes, a really very good atmosphere and good prices, also thank you for your always attention..

Here in this restaurant the lady is very impotent and they don't give good service and they don't order what you want because then that's not how she is, she's bitter, they're not good waitresses, I'm going to blame them for the bad service 1' 10 it's a serious ??? ???

I decided to try this place based on reviews but service was horrible. The older American lady is rude. They don’t have room for big parties. She was upset because I had my babies high chair on the side. (First time I hear this) of all places I’ve been too this is a first time for me. Maybe you guys should clean up the other side and make more room for bigger families with kids.
