I was there Saturday about 2 o'clock. It wasn't very crowded which was nice as it is. Great to get a seat right away. Surface wasn't as great as the seating. We had somebody who was extremely slow and couldn't find his way. We ordered a sampler tray of margaritas. Very disappointing as they were only each 2 1/2 ounces which meant you didn't get any liquor and it was all ice for $17. I will never ever buy them again. They didn't even equal one double margarita that you would normally get if you ordered one buy itself. One server brought an extremely hot plate, and as she was setting it down, never expressed that it was hot, And one of our guests burnt his fingers. And she laughed. The plate was so hot, but our food was so cold. As we received our bill looking at our charges, our bill was $87. Which wasn't the problem but there was an added charge of $2.70 and it was considered a surcharge which had absolutely nothing to do with our tip nor the cost of what we ordered. When we asked what it was for the waiter said, would you like me to get the manager and we said yes. Instead he comes back to the table with a one by three plaque that is located at the front of the desk telling that there is going to be a service charge. But at the same time we still wanted to know what it was for. We could not get a manager to our table, even though there was two of them standing at the front counter where they were doing absolutely nothing. Upon leaving we stopped and we asked and we got a snotty remark. We informed them that it was not told to us as we were being seated, nor was it on their menu that we were going to be charged the extra fee. So therefore, we asked for our money back, for the service charge only which took an act of Congress to do so. Because of the way we were treated, not because of the food we will not be back. I think it's hard enough for people to get a family of five together to have a nice lunch let alone be charged for something and then be treated like crap because of it.

They skimp on the meat for the carne asada and enchilada plate the most expensive plate and this is what I got ? Look how small the amount of meat they gave me. The taste was okay but super disappointed and also the waitress was kind of rude she made mistakes on my tortillas and brought me cup with Ice after I said I didn't want any ice

Walking in I was surprised to see a salad bar set up for brunch. Champagne brunch. The Champagne looks like it's brought iced to your table in a nice little bucket. A stack of pancake, too. With fruit. Looks fluffy and good. The brunch, however, is the only option until 2pm. No menu orders. I was disappointed because of the brunch appearance and no off menu order, we decided to leave. The food seemed a bit dried out. Though the variety was fantastic. Nice presentation, but hard to see if they were all on warmers. Loved the meat and taco station with live people. Those looked good. The salad bar, however, scared me, and as a vegetarian, fresh items are important to me. The salad bar was set up in the entrance with the sad kids' buffet. It looked Luke warm, wilted, and like lots of people had stood around it. Having this in the entrance may be a miss. There is sunshine and traffic flow. This is not where I want to walk for my salad. My table was also very wobbly and sticky. My sister comes often and she really likes this location, so im sure that means the food must be good. This just didn't work for us today.

I came to El torito tonight and had such a great experience. Food was quick and delicious. The bacon wrapped shrimp are amazing. Andrea our sever was super sweet and had great energy. I will definitely be back for the brunch

This place was decent at one point. Now you come here for dry carne Asada like the leftover of carne asada i give my dog at home. Services is ok not as great. Food is worth $30.00 a plate on how bad the food is. Definitely avoiding coming here again. Oh BTW the Strawberry Margarita taste like old frozen ice from an old freezer and no liquor.
The El Torito in the Palmdale Mall is stellar. I had a great meal and Cadillac Margarita. The 2 meals which we couldn't finish and two cocktails were less than 65 dollars, but we gave a 10 dollar tip. We had a great meal.

Went for happy hour but it was not the best experience food wise. The drinks were very watered down and not the best tasting. We ordered the chicken sopes and tacos gobernador offered for happy hour and they were bland. The chicken was also hard. I would not eat here again. However, our server was very attentive and checked on us every couple of minutes, offering more drinks and food. She was the only positive experience we had ✨️

I went to the Eltorito in Northridge,I ordered Fajitas 1800 Ingnited. The server bought then to the table and walked away. I called her back and said you don't put Tequila on this and light it anymore? She said I couldn't find the Tequila. I will leave it at that... I won't be back..
