Lulu's Tamales serves outstanding tamales that are highly recommended. With a variety of flavors, including mole, green chicken, red pork, and chicharon, these hefty tamales are packed with flavor. The masa-to-meat ratio is perfect, and the tamales are not dry at all. Customers love the menudo too. The food truck, with no seating area, sells out quickly, so be sure to grab some, especially the popular red tamales, to enjoy at home. Prices are reasonable, and the size of the tamales is generous. The people are very friendly, and there is plenty of parking for cars and big rigs right off the freeway. Many say these are the best tamales in AV, even better than homemade ones. Will make another purchase this week!
