While in Palmdale for a few days I sought out a good Mexican restaurant to visit! My research kept drawing me back to this place called “Speedy Joe’s”. Intrigued by the name, location and exterior photos, I just had to go. This place was a trip! Old school OG legit family run Mexican restaurant. Such a homey vibe with sweet folks. If I lived in the area I would be a regular here for certain. I ordered the Burrito Colorado and it was excellent! Filled with a generous portion of tender beef chunks in a red chile sauce. I can’t wait to eat here again the next time I’m in the Antelope Valley. I highly recommend this unique, standout Mexican family establishment.

Just received the rudest customer service from a man that identified himself as the person in charge although he is not the owner and would not identify himself by name. Extremely disappointed as we have been regular weekly customers of this restaurant for years always tipping 20% or greater due to the fantastic service that was so friendly and personal in the past, but now there’s been a personnel change. I pray that there’s another personnel change soon so that an old family restaurant can resume its kindness and personal service that it used to have.

A little place with excellent food. Club Quesadilla is to die for delicious. Hubby got Burrito Colorado with extremely tender beef. Good homemade salsa! Everyone should stop here!

This is our all time favorite Mexican food in the AV. I honestly feel like I'm at my Nanas house. The staff is awesome. Ramona was the best🫶 May she rest in Heaven.
