The food quality is great, and the portions are good. The service was fine, which is speaking volumes for the AV. The added price for rice, even steamed, and the overall value is why I rated Tokyo 4 stars.

Didn't have a great experienced, was with a cook who didn't know what he was doing. He kept leaving our table to get the ingredients or supplies he needed to cook our food. He was very short with us and didn't do anything. Awful service.

I go to the one in Lancaster I always get good service the food is excellent and always have fun.i give it a 5 star rating I have never been to the one in Palmdale.

Very unhappy with service and food. We had a reservation for 6 didn't get seated till 8:30 still waited a half hour just to order drinks. Food was ok too chopped up for my taste. Didn't want my steak cut up in little bit. All the food was served one at a time rice then meat and last veggies... Oh and watch out for tipping because they add it to your bill and then suggested you tip an additional 18, 20 and 25% more... Didn't know it was already added to my bill.

For my first ever Teppanyaki experience, I had the opportunity to go to Tokyo Steak here in Palmdale for my cousin's birthday and it was a great time. I did not really know what to expect as I had never been somewhere like this before. All I knew was that they cook food in front of you lol. I ordered a chicken and steak combo and it was really good actually. A little too high in price if I'm being honest but it's the spectacle you're also paying for not just the food. That being said, our cook, Angel, did a spectacular job. He was great to talk to and he made everyone feel comfortable at the table. He cooked our food with expertise and total professionalism. Props to him. Also the waitress was very attentive and made sure we had all the things we needed like hot sauce, water or appetizers. I also liked the environment of the restaurant. A bunch of photos of sumo wrestlers and decorations. They had some swords up at the front by the bar which was pretty cool and they even have a big wall by the entrance that has photos of famous people who have eaten at the restaurant before.
Food is always underwhelming considering the high prices and $4 extra just for fried rice. Paid $22 for the yakisoba chicken entree was more like a small side. The sushi was not very fresh and was flavorless. Overall you're better off spending your money elsewhere. The chef and waitress are always so nice and fun. They're the only good thing about that place, aside their sake bombs that are so good and trick you into trying the food again when 10/10 times you already know you'll leave disappointed.

Found the place to be dirty while setting at the bar area and our cook must of been new because his performance was terrible. For what we paid for two people to eat could have had four people at Sizzler with salad bar and the food would have tasted much better.

Fun time whole family up 3 am one belly hurting one throwing up and one's going number two hopefully eh toddler don't have it and really not worth 200 The bathrooms were all flooded and clogged men and women's There was a closed sign saying they closed early on the door unfortunately it wasn't closed soon enough for us Its pricey and it's dirty
