This is a decent Italian restaurant in downtown Palo Alto. The ambience is nice, but very pricey and the service could be better. We arrived around 9pm on a Friday night, and our waiter wasn't very patient with us, though they're open until 10. Overall, the food was good. As a disclaimer, my job frequently hosted work functions at Arte Ristorante, so I don't know if I can provide the most unbiased opinion (in either direction). That said, I have to say that I love the overall package this institution provides. Nice ambiance. Bruschetta topped with big baked Roma tomato was good. Had Ravioli Ricotta e Spinachi which wasn't that great Best part of the dinner was dessert Tried all three night specials : Almond cake was ok, Chocolate and Cassata Cakes were Yummy
