the pistachio baklava latte was so good. TK is everything you could want in a proprietor ( friendly! helpful! generous!) I found this beloved neighborhood coffeehouse by looking online. I wanted somewhere I would feel comfortable lounging ( comfortable chairs and various rooms/spaces, warm, good zibe) and working. I was not looking for a sleek sterile coffeehouse. I loved it that people can draw or write on the walls and that even though this was done with sharpies, I didn't see any evidence of ill will or critiquing if others. I was offered a sharpie myself not long after I arrived. what a great place! I'll be back whenever I pass through Charlotte. did I mention that the pistachio baklava latte was delicious? real pistachios! just right sweetness.

I’m such a big fan of this place and a regular! i live nearby and i go all the time. BUT i just placed a mobile order only to find out that the store is actually closed? And no one is answering the phone. really disappointed that i was charged for a drink and they accepted my mobile order while the restaurant is closed.
overall - i enjoy the spiced coffee drinks - really unique and yummy. matcha is pretty good too, hits the spot. FOOD IS EXTREMELY MID! Dont order it. prices are pretty high for everything

Very easy access from parking structure - under 10m from the closest parking spot (if you're lucky). Perfect for laptop, but terrible if it's cold outside. tent is heated but toilet is cold!
Parking: very close to parking garage, enter/exit out the back. I bet it's uncrowded when raining but you won't need to walk far.

Discovering this place hiding off of California street was like stumbling through a brick wall into diagon alley. There are lots of odd bits and bobs around that give it an eccentric vibe. They had tons of fun drinks and I will be working my way down the menu. The cream biscuit was dry and tasteless but it won’t stop me from going back.

I did spend couple of hours there and worked. Everything was so peaceful and quiet. They were very kind and welcoming. About food and coffee, the food was very yummy ? about coffee, I got one of the special ones, baklava pistachio, it was ok. Next time I definitely order regular coffee. :) Highly recommend this cozy coffee shop.
