Really really good. Lobster Mac and cheese was really delicious. TOMATO SOUP AND GARLIC BREAD WAS SO YUMMY RAAAAHHH. Sesame salad was also really good and I don't even like salad. Honestly 10/10 and I'm surprised that their reviews aren't consistently higher.

My family and I dine here whenever we come to the Stanford Shopping Center. Though service has always been okay, our latest dining experience there was awful. Upon arriving, I told the hostess 2 adults and 1 highchair. We were shown to the table and then the hostess went back to the front to chat with other guests. Our server, Simone (spelling?) came over and asked if we needed a highchair. UMMM....no, we are just going to let our toddler stand there while my husband and I were standing around the table. YES, PLEASE. Our order was taken, food was delivered, and we ate. The kids meal comes with a drink which Simone did not ask about. Upon finishing, we kept waiting on Simone to come by so we could ask for a box and the check. I look over to the kitchen, and I see her there on her phone and talking to another server. I wave, nothing. I finally waved down another server and told him we needed a box and our check. Guess he told Simone and she came over with a box and our check. I asked my husband to check whether she charged him for his drink since our daughter didn't get a drink with her meal. Nope, his drink was charged. We told Simone and her response was "Oh. Let me remove it." Really? No apologies, no nothing. Was extremely disappointed and I WILL ask for Simone to NOT be our server the next time we go. From a customer's point of view, she had zero interest in being there and it clearly showed.

Nice comfy place for a pit stop to fuel up while shopping at Nordstrom. Probably one of the better eateries in the Stanford Shopping Center. Good value, yummy food and friendly service. The host/hostesses and wait staff are always welcoming and accommodating. I frequently get takeouts from here too.

Good menu selection and tasty food. Place was empty when we arrived and for first 30 minutes. Waiter was unfriendly, abrupt, and rushed everything. Did not greet us when we sat down. I had specified it was a birthday celebration and no mention was made of that. Waiter stood in the corner and did not come over to check on how our meal was going. If I returned, I would request a different waiter.

Service and food were delicious, as always. A new feature was sourdough bread and butter on the table. We ate all of it! The burger was especially good. I liked the crab mango and avocado salad, and one of us had tacos and the chicken noodle soup and found it scrumptious.

Server rarely came to our table. We wanted refills on our drinks and got tired of waiting and asked the hostess. The food quality had been better before but this time, food was mediocre so the value was NOT worth it. Won't dine here again.

I booked a brunch reservation for 11am on Sunday. The Nordstrom website says the brunch menu is served every weekend (starting at 11am), so my group was excited to try it out. When we arrived, we were given regular lunch menus; I asked to see the brunch menu and they informed us they wouldn't be serving it that day because it was going to be "too busy." I told them we specifically came for brunch and that's the reservation we made with them. The server said they could do a handful of brunch items, like monkey bread and eggs/bacon--but no pancakes, because, again, they were "too busy" for the full brunch menu. Well, my group was literally the only party in the restaurant for about a half hour (so much for being "too busy") and still it took 40 minutes for our food to arrive. The monkey bread we ordered came out overbaked. One of my daughters didn't order anything, because she wanted pancakes, which they wouldn't make (because no brunch that day). The food was average. Our server was good. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I likely won't return.

Server, sorry, don't remember her name, was terrific. Everyone in Bazille was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. My friend and I both ordered the Crab, Avocado, and Mango Salad. It was generous and very attractive, and delicious! It was served with 3 crisp slices of Baguette. I appreciated the crisp toast. I look forward to returning to Bazille for lunch.

Once seated, the service was inconsistent. The soup took a long time to come and then was served with the rest of the meal. The bread with the crab bisque was served even later. Took a while for us to spot our waitress so we could request our check.

I wheeled my 93 yr old father to be seated only to be ignored. No one approached us for many minutes after receiving menus. After 4 minutes or so we departed. No one followed up as I pushed his wheelchair right past the two people who were there in spirit only to greet us. No follow up. Nothing. Only 8 patrons seated. Plus the young man at the reception area is just not trained. "May I see a menu please". Response. Yeah. Sad. Won't be going back. People aren't trained and they simply dont care.

I have eaten at the Palo Alto nordstroms at least 6 times in the last few months. The Asian ginger salad was always delicious. This time it was terrible & I will never order it again. I should have sent it back after the first bite. I asked the waitress if there was a new chef & she said no. The greens were bad, the dressing was not the same & made it soggy & the crispy wontons were not the same. Don't order this salad.

This might sound weird, but I think the Peninsula’s best burger is at Nordstrom. They cook it to order and the patty is thick and juicy. The lettuce seems to be delicate bib lettuce and the tomatoes are always great. The cheese is super melty (I think they melt it in the pizza oven) and tastes like havarti. The bun is a light brioche style that’s both soft and tasty. And the garlic aioli is just the right amount of creamy. The fries are good but it’s the olive dip they come with that really shines. It sounds kind of funny, right? Creamy olive dip? It’s super savory and umami and somehow cheesy all at the same time. Perfect with the crispy fresh fries. The other food I’ve had there is decent but not super special. The service has ranged from very good to ok. And the ambiance kind of feels like a darker Panera. But if you want an excellent, dressed up burger with memorable fries, this is your place! And absolutely stop here if you’ve been shopping too long and need a bite, it’s secluded and aware from the hubbub of the rest of the store so you can regroup.
