We had such a wonderful experience at this Mediterranean restaurant! The owner was absolutely lovely and incredibly hospitable. She even offered us complimentary cake and tea, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture.
We tried the Alexander Kebab (based on her recommendation) and the Moussaka, and both were absolutely delicious, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The whole experience felt very warm and welcoming.
Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Mediterranean food. We’ll definitely be coming back again for sure!

Great food and great service.. was blessed to have a great Host Named Yousef. I ordered the lamb/beef wrap and it was delicious… the large and very generous portions also make this place one of my favorites. Thank you Yousef

First off, a huge compliment to the chef here, while window shopping for lunch we advised him of a doet restriction and he catered exactly to our needs! Another party member had the gyro playe (#29) and it was also very delicious! Wonder experience and amazing food! Will definitely be back

Love this place! Will comeback again!!!The chef prepared my plate exactly how i needed it. He listened to my concerns and didn’t hesitate one bit. Assured me he would take care of preparing the plate himself and he did! Thank you for awesome customer service and delicious food!!!

Delicious authentic Turkish food. We came here twice, and both times were great. We met the restaurant owner who was very gracious and kind and server is tea with Kadaifi. Quick service, clean restaurant, delicious food. Will definitely come by anytime we're in town.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Café 220. The “Arni Kokinisto”— tender diced lamb with tomatoes, onions, eggplant, and bell pepper baked in a clay pot—was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the meal even better. Highly recommend this spot for authentic Turkish dishes!

Absolutely disappointing. Ordered a chicken wrap and was served a tortilla stuffed with shredded lettuce and chicken slathered in an overly tangy sauce. No hummus, no chickpeas, no other vegetables, no rice, none of the ingredients you'd expect in a Mediterranean wrap. For $21 it felt more like a prank than a meal and it took 15–20 minutes to arrive. It’s like they’ve taken the “casual” in casual dining to mean “we don’t care.” No attention to detail, no effort, no flavor.
Palo Alto has plenty of great Mediterranean spots, this is not one of them. Save your money and your tastebuds. Skip it.

Maybe I just ordered the wrong things but the food here was truly disgusting. The potato salad was dry and crusty - like it has been sitting out for days. The veggie moussaka that I ordered was nothing like a moussaka - it was soupy and chalky at the same time, like they mixed a veggie stew with flour. It also tasted old. Needless to say, I’m never going back.
