Very friendly service, there is outdoor seating too. Food was very tasty, well cooked and enjoyable. The complimentary tea was a lovely finish to a lovely lunch. All served with a smile.

Delicious authentic Turkish food. We came here twice, and both times were great. We met the restaurant owner who was very gracious and kind and server is tea with Kadaifi. Quick service, clean restaurant, delicious food. Will definitely come by anytime we're in town.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Café 220. The “Arni Kokinisto”— tender diced lamb with tomatoes, onions, eggplant, and bell pepper baked in a clay pot—was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the meal even better. Highly recommend this spot for authentic Turkish dishes!

Absolutely disappointing. Ordered a chicken wrap and was served a tortilla stuffed with shredded lettuce and chicken slathered in an overly tangy sauce. No hummus, no chickpeas, no other vegetables, no rice, none of the ingredients you'd expect in a Mediterranean wrap. For $21 it felt more like a prank than a meal and it took 15–20 minutes to arrive. It’s like they’ve taken the “casual” in casual dining to mean “we don’t care.” No attention to detail, no effort, no flavor.
Palo Alto has plenty of great Mediterranean spots, this is not one of them. Save your money and your tastebuds. Skip it.

Maybe I just ordered the wrong things but the food here was truly disgusting. The potato salad was dry and crusty - like it has been sitting out for days. The veggie moussaka that I ordered was nothing like a moussaka - it was soupy and chalky at the same time, like they mixed a veggie stew with flour. It also tasted old. Needless to say, I’m never going back.

Meat was so fresh and tender, and their lentil soup honestly the best I’ve had in town. Highly recommended
I fully enjoy every time I come to cafe 220 and often bring a friend. Their spanakopita plate tastes as good as it looks- I highly recommend! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I also really appreciated how my friend and I were given some tiny cups of tea on the house without us asking for them! They did this for me and another friend on a different occasion too so it seems like they regularly give complimentary tea if they can tell you’re staying to chat a bit longer. I will continue coming back and recommending to friends. Surprised they don’t have a higher rating!
The best turkish restaurant in The Bay area … the chef was very kind and the waiter was very friendly and the food and the tea were amazing ….it was very unique experience with lovely food ❤️
Loved their food! Super yummy hummus + pita. I got the lamb & beef sandwich which was tasty and tender. Baklava was good too. No complaints, def come here
