They do not wash the milk jugs between service and if you look, you’ll see that they are crusted with milk. Larger set man is not nice.

The people working here are rude and bitter. Me and my friend ordered 2 drinks and waited by the pick up counter. They placed 2 drinks at the pickup counter and said 'here you are'. We took our drinks and then the waiter came to me several minutes later with an attitude and said 'did you take someone else's drink?? What did you order?? Well that's NOT your drink.' I said 'oh! It's very similar to the one I ordered. Can I have the one I ordered then?', the waiter said with an attitude 'no. Drink what you have now'...
They're European, so it obviously showed with their arrogance lack of customer service.

This place used to be super cool but it goes downhill bit by bit, especially after Covid. I used to go there every week now I only go there many once a year. Their staff is kinda rude too, there’s Turkey guy worked there for few years already I think , he’s very rude.

Pretty much the only place in palo alto where people sit and talk to each other without staring at their screens. There is a specific computer free zone. Nice place to get a tea or coffee and read a bill or catch up w a friend

Best chocolate mousse ever! Usually it’s difficult to make chocolate dark without a touch of sourness, but this chocolate mousse is super smooth, with genuine rich chocolate flavour not over-powered by its sweetness.

truly my favorite establishment in Palo Alto. Incredible spiced hot chocolate, incredible people-watching, and a magical ambiance
A traditional café with comfortable outside seating stretching across the sidewalk.
One downside, laptops are not allowed on, at least some tables, so working here isn’t tolerated.

All coffees here are so good. My favorites are cappuccino, espresso machiato, and their thick drinking chocolate. The owner (I think) is always in such a good mood.

Cafe Venetia was a great find and will be on the 'to go to' list for all future visits to Palo Alto. In a perfect spot for watching the world go by on University Avenue and some of the best coffee and cakes/pasties on our trip. Highly recommended!
