Awful service but the food was good. Parking wasn't great on the street but there is a parking lot across the street.

Backwater delight. Home cooked Caribbean food. Casually comfortable. Attentive. Each dish has care given to it. In a city with lots of corporate eateries this is refreshing spot.

I’d been to Coconuts a few times in person and usually food was good but service was slow. However, I ordered via Doordash for the first time this weekend (dark meat jerk chicken and cornbread) and got food poisoning. I am sure it was Coconuts because it was the only thing I ate that day. I am also pretty sure they are deleting my DoorDash reviews. DO NOT EAT HERE.

The cashier closed my tab without offering me a receipt. I had to ask for a receipt. He told me my total was $22. However when he gave me separate receipts for the TWO items I ordered he shorted me 23cents. I understand it isn’t a lot but be watchful when paying for your food. I gave $30 cash and only received $8 back.

The food was absolutely delicious! As a regular consumer of Caribbean cuisine, I came in with my expectations in check—but I was pleasantly surprised. The portions were generous (I went for lunch and ended up skipping dinner). The subtle hint of coconut in the rice truly made my day and the curry goat was one of the best I’ve had in a long time—yes, I said it! The service was decent; although our orders got mixed up, the staff were very friendly and apologetic, which made up for it. Overall, a fantastic experience that I’ll definitely be coming back for.

Great restaraunt. Great food, great ambience would come here. You can’t go wrong with the jerk chicken or the sampler. I also liked the cornbread and the oxtail and goat.

The food was OK, but the manager was rude. He ignored us while we were waiting to be seated. Then, as we were paying, he pretended not to hear me and made me repeat myself three times just to entertain a waitress.

Amazingly seasoned food!!! Every single thing in the appetizer sampler was unique and spiced well, and the salmon was amazing.

Warning! All three dishes we ordered were absurdly salty (chicken, shrimp curry, oxtail, goat, salmon), including the rice and beans. We had to soak it all in hot water before it was remotely edible.

The service and salad otherwise was good, but the salt really ruined it for us.
