A lot of food. I couldn’t finish my oxtail. Super glad they let me have coleslaw instead of rice and beans. I ate up all the fried plantains. Yum. Oxtail was nice and tender.

Nothing exemplary. The mango shrimp was a little on the unique side. Corn bread, Pina colada was not worth it. Chicken winds was typical American chicken wings, nothing new, but tasted good as usual.

What's wrong with the staff?
I told a waiter that I wanted an appetizer and some drinks, he said yes.
He waited and never came. I complained and never entered the order until another waiter came to take my order.

Super tasty Jamaican food, the curry shrimp and oxtail combo was delicious. The only thing I’d say the food was quite salty. My passfruit sangria was soooo good. The place is quite old needs a remodel.

DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!
We ordered food for ourselves and when I went there to pick up my order, which was clearly indicated on the receipt for a 4:30pm pickup, they couldn't find it and after scrolling up and down their computer monitor, I spotted my name and the employee printed the receipt only to tell me, "Oh! The order says 11:52am and someone has picked it up!" After I told them that 11:52am is the time that order was placed and after showing the receipt for a 4:30pm pickup, they called in the owner and this guy had the gull to look me in the eye and say it's not our problem! And that they didn't get the 4:30pm pickup and blah blah blah....
No apologies for the mistake that they clearly made and the lies about 11:52am pickup as if I had no idea how these things work.
Long story short, they made my order with no sign of apology or the fact that they were blaming their mistake on me.
Thankfully my receipt shut him down and he vanished in the backyard of the restaurant.
SHAME ON THE OWNER for being a DOUCHEBAG!
Have some humility to simply acknowledge the mistake and that would be the end of it instead of blaming the customer who clearly had nothing to do with your guys' confusion and mistake.

A small place with some outside tables.Good for families with older kids or adults. Not enough space for little ones to move about. Tasty food. Good service

Everything was delicious. We especially loved the shrimp curry and jerk chicken. The ginger juice is not listed on the menu and is extremely good.

It’s the consistency in service, drinks and food for me. I have been coming here for years and have had different servers. It’s always a dependable welcoming atmosphere. Will took care of my friend ,the birthday girl, yesterday and made her feel extra special. Love that

Love love love. The food is so flavorful and well prepared. The perfect amount of spice. Such a great meal especially with the gluten free options.

I didn't know chicken could be so dry.

The goat was very tasty the last time I visited, but the chicken (dark meat at that) was incredibly overcooked.

Food is flavorful, portions are great (except for only having 4 pieces of plantain. I’m Jamaican, so I want all the plantain lol) Great all around!

Stumbled upon this little gem; the food was delicious and super flavorful! My husband and I visit Jamaica often and the oxtails and beef patties were spot on! Service was delightful as there was no wait (on a Saturday afternoon) and we were greeted with smiles from everyone. This place will definitely be our "go-to" when I'm Palo Alto!
