I go here all the time. But today ordered a simple bean, rice, and cheese burrito, then got home and realized they gave me just a bean burrito. Went back and asked nicely for them to remake it, only to be given a disgusted look and be told that the rice cost $1 more so I would have to pay the difference for their mistake. Well I had forgotten my wallet at home and couldn’t pay, so I just ended up tossing it and leaving, having paid $9 for 2 bites of a burrito that I didn’t order. First world problems, but you lost a customer.

They were a solid enough shop, but I felt like their vegan options were an after thought? The tofu in our burritos was unflavored, just lumped in to the black beans. I assumed they would of jazzed it up if it was a menu item, wish I had gotten a basic bean burrito. Good mexican food, but in CA you can easily find equal and better.

Got a DoorDash order tonight. Food was old, cold and dry. Garbage . Used to be good, then again it’s been a couple years. No

Not sure if their other items are tasty but my review is only based on what I ordered. I got a chorizo breakfast burrito. It costed $9.26. It tasted ok. Sour and salty. The beans were soupy. I liked the tortilla. However, it was the smallest burrito I’ve ever had in my life for that price. I’m a petite female and my hands are not large. So you can see that the burrito is maybe 5-6inches long and 3 inches wide. I plan to come back and and give this place a second chance

The best carnitas tacos around. Moist, juicy slow roasted and tender. Good portions. Two will do. Other meat and chicken are good as well. Very consistent and the Chef has been there for years. He loves his work and always has a smile for everyone.

The burritos we tasted were delicious, both the súper veggie burrito with guac and the súper chicken burrito. It had nice grill flavour. I recommend!

The best Mexican food is that which is made with love. Como Esta Taqueria cares about the quality of their food, and the service of their staff. The chef waves to me and beams with joy to see my excitement at the sizzling grill. The kind and friendly woman taking my order is accommodating of my request for an extra spicy, wet burrito. She hides a cheeky smile, and gives me a knowing look as I ask for serrano peppers (with seeds!) inside my burrito. When my order is called after only 5-10 minutes of waiting, I’m given extra chips and salsa with my food. It’s the simple things that make you a repeat customer. I’m sure there’s a restaurant elsewhere in the Bay Area with a better burrito. But nothing will recreate the feeling of warmth when I eat at Como Esta Taqueria.
