So many options to choose from here! We loved everything we got, but the tofu dishes were the standout. FYI- I like to order directly from restaurants, but I think their website’s menu is outdated and we could not reach them by phone, so we ended up ordering via Uber Eats. Gross - my Mapo tofu had actual chicken meat in it! I’m still grossed out. I took two bites before I realized. They offered to make another one (after they saw my yelp review) and then my husband decided to drive allll the way back over there to pick it up, they begged him to get me to remove my yelp review. When we first called, they asked if we wrote “vegetarian” in the comment section as if it was my fault. Then on seeing the yelp review, decided they needed to make a new meal. Said they didn’t know how chicken could get in the Mapo tofu. How indeed…
Absolutely great if you love Sichuan food and numbing pepper. We liked the twice cooked pork and dry pot tofu. The veggie dumplings were also good but the wrapper is a bit too thick - still delicious though. As others have mentioned they have an entire separate green menu in the back with a lot of veggie / vegan options.
Can’t speak about other items in the menu but DO NOT ORDER SCHEZUAN LAMB OR CHICKEN. they only give you pepper and jalapeños. You have to scrape for the meat
Food was delicious & good service. We are from Austin, and we usually can’t find tasty food near us. Thank you for the amazing meal!

Amazing food! I love Sichuan food and this place is one of my favorites. The Manchurian chicken is a must, and the sautéed cabbage and string beans are delicious as well.

The chicken manchurian was almost certainly spoiled! At least super old, not at all fresh, and full of chiles. Maybe the fried rice tasted very old. I ate there yesterday and today I feel sick, avoid going.

I moved out of state but this is at the top of my list every time I visit home. Delicious, flavorful, just-right levels of spicy comfort food. It’s hard for me to find Chinese food with my food allergies and gluten intolerance but Susan the hostess is extremely allergen-aware. She will straight up tell me when I should skip an ingredient because she can’t be sure the source is free of contamination. I always get a safe and delicious meal (the dry wok hot pot tofu is a must)! Thank you Susan and Nong!!

Ordered take out from this restaurant. Started with no utensils. Great start. Food quality was extremely low. I can make better Sichuan food than this. Green Beans were old. Brown rice smelled like dirty gym socks. Absolutely disgusting. I love Chinese food, but I couldnt stomach the food. Barely ate any of it.

genuinely the worst meal i’ve had in years.
All spicy, delicious and filling. Szechuan food cooked at home. Be sure to order the chicken with chili and white rice!! Its owners take care of you very kindly.

The food and service was solid, and the vibe was relaxed and unpretentious, which I liked. If you’re in the area and craving some bold, authentic flavors, Da Sichuan Bistro is where it’s at. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
