Dinah's Poolside Restaurant

It was raining and cold outside, nice to sit inside near fireplace. Breakfast was perfect, we could hear each other easily, waiter (Hugo) very good and friendly! With thanks.

As always it was delightful. The food was outstanding, the poolside table was terrific and best of all was our waiter, Hugo. He is always so friendly and an amazing professional. We will be back soon!

We had a quiet weeknight dinner on the patio. Great food, service, and fun to sit by the pool. Dinah's is busy for weekend brunch, but was not too crowded in the evening.

Very nice ambience beside an outdoor interconnecting serious of ponds (in somewhat Japanese garden style) with many ducks and a few koi. Who would have believed such an oasis exists behind the facade of the hotel/restaurant fronting on busy El Camino Real? Their mushroom quesadilla (with a garlic-laced avocado dip) was probably the best quesadilla I've ever tasted (and I've had quite a few!)

We had a very pleasant server, greeted us with a welcoming smile. The dinner was delicious.

Nice place to stay in the valley

I liked the poolside atmosphere, though it was pricey for what you'd expect poolside. Food was only so-so.

A perfect place for a special Sunday brunch for a family gathering! Many choices of excellent food and great ambiance in an outdoor setting.

This is a charming place to have a drink or dinner when the weather is nice, sitting by the pool. The service was excellent! This is one of my go to places for good weather, dining outdoors.

We've never been there before, but it always heard about it. We had a lovely outdoor table and amazing service. We had some questions about the menu and the server was happy to share all the information she had so we made good choices for the day. I had the old-school fried chicken, which was not what I expected – it was even better and a huge portion. It's more Japanese fried style, very light and not oily at all. And the vegetables that came with it were cooked just right – hope you like Garlic, if you get this dish!  my DH had the special of the day – a Greek salmon salad with a huge slab of fresh salmon on top of fresh greens, a light dressing and some feta cheese. Big enough for two, but he ate it all. 😊 It's always challenging to go to a place. You've never been and worry that it might not be what you hope. But Dinah's ‘s was everything we wanted and more – great food, beautiful ambience outside and service that made us feel right at home.

We had a very nice early lunch by the pool. Our meals were delicious and served up very quickly. The server was both polite and attentive. Will definitely try to dine here again on a future trip.

Excellent food, service, and poolside ambience. We always get their fried calamari and truffle fries. Their beet salad is excellent and comes with grilled prawns. We loved everything we tried.
