Nice ambience to Dine in. Good food, and great service.
There was no quality in the food and it was very small. The eggs were so small, I could not see them on the plate....hahaha
Always great food. Service could have been slightly more attentive since we were the only ones there. But still good! Such a special low key and different place. Outside tables with heaters. Christmas decorations are NOT to be missed.
What a gem of a place. Great staff. Great food. Awesome drinks and cocktails. Great location by the pool. We went in December and the Christmas decorations are next level. Already booked another dinner there for next week.
Dinah’s Poolside Restaurant offers a truly delightful dining experience, standing out not only for its great service but also for its wonderfully relaxing ambiance; the setting is quaint and full of character, creating a peaceful, nostalgic atmosphere right by the water. While the entire menu is appealing, the absolute must-try is their phenomenal corned beef hash, which is perfectly seasoned, wonderfully crisp, and clearly homemade, making it a standout dish that solidifies Dinah's as a charming hidden gem.
food was lovely. Room was very loud and service was good understandably very busy for a holiday.
Our OpenTable reservation was for fireplace seating, but when we arrived we were told the only available table for two was outdoors, and not very close to any heaters. The fixed menu food and the service was good, but sitting in the cold significantly detracted from the experience.
It was raining and cold outside, nice to sit inside near fireplace. Breakfast was perfect, we could hear each other easily, waiter (Hugo) very good and friendly! With thanks.
Ordered a Canadian Eggs Benedict. It was mediocre.
As always it was delightful. The food was outstanding, the poolside table was terrific and best of all was our waiter, Hugo. He is always so friendly and an amazing professional. We will be back soon!

Poolside seating is covered and has heaters, so was pleasant even on a cool day.
Stayed at Dinah’s Garden Hotel and ate here our first night in Palo Alto. The ambiance is casual and pleasant — feels like the kind of place locals come to unwind. We started with the calamari appetizer, which was crisp and flavorful. Our mains, the ravioli and salmon, were both very good — nicely prepared and fresh. Wine and cocktails were well done and complemented the meal nicely. Service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. A relaxing spot for a low-key dinner after a long day of travel.
It's like being on vacation and you really are in town. Themed rooms, great food served poolside, a nice reprieve from busy life! A great find!
We had a quiet weeknight dinner on the patio. Great food, service, and fun to sit by the pool. Dinah's is busy for weekend brunch, but was not too crowded in the evening.
Rooms are extremely clean. Bed was so comfortable. Steam shower is the Lanai Suite was so nice. Food at the poolside restaurant was reallygpod.
