Amazing Croissants, Pain aux Chocolat, and Pain aux Raisins. 5 easy stars on those.
Unfortunately, the crème pâtissière in the éclair, Mille feuille, and tartine, lacked flavor and the color was also off (very pale white).

We were just passing by the area and ended up getting an espresso and quiche. Loved it. Great overall experience. Great service.

The pastries were very good. Especially the pain au chocolat, pain au raisin, and the ham and cheese croissant. We also had the raspberry croissant, eclair, tiramisu, strawberry tart, and millefoglie. My only complaint was that the cream pasticceria was a bit on the lighter side in color and flavor, but that could just be because of the egg problem going on right now. Usually it's a bit more yellow and richer, but it may be harder to get better quality yolks at the moment. I did give it a 5 star though because the flakiness of the croissant, pain au chocolat, and pain au raisin were spot on. Very good.

Great bakery and cafe. You can get sweet and savory treats here, there is plenty of seating inside and outside. Outside seating is covered by a roof. It is hard to find parking - a very popular plaza.

The only problem here can be availability of the seats, there are never more than a handful available.

The pastries and coffee are really tasty. The portion sizes for breakfast items and the cost are great, they are fairly standard. Some seating inside and outside, quick food service. Lots of different pastry and cake options so will have to return to try more. Walkable from Stanford campus!

The servers did not want to exchange my father's coffee after he only requested to be replaced. The half-&-half was spoiled and they wanted to charge $1.50 just to change a cup of coffee like wth? Not sure why they didn't want to do it as if they were going to lose shit.

Finally a decent cup of coffee! Pear and Brie sandwich very good. Baguettes are especially good in the AMs. Blue Bottle fans Verve drinking tech bros keep off!
