Let me first say, we really enjoyed our crepes. So if you're looking for crepes and coffee, this is the place. However, we also ordered pomme frites and the french onion soup. And though I know pomme frites are french for fries, I was expecting them to be prepared the way typical pomme frites are prepared-- fried and tossed with seasoning served with a mayo-based sauce on the side. These were just fries with ketchup. A bit disappointing. I would not recommend the french onion soup. It was pretty bland. The broth was not dark, but light and clear, similar to a chicken broth. It was topped with a crunchy bread but then sprinkled with shredded parmesan (?!) which was not melted. Super disappointing. Otherwise, good service and again, I just recommend staying with the crepes.

I love the vibes of this quaint, very French cafe - it just feels so authentic. Service is quick despite being fairly busy and the wide menu means you can always get something that you're craving. The food itself is pretty good but not particularly outstanding - for example, the croque madame sort of just fell apart from the softness of the bread and the wetness of the bechamel. However, the pastries look good and seem affordable - they're next on my list to try when I return!

Got the vanilla latte and smoked salmon baguette and wasn’t disappointed. The sandwich was a bit dry but the salmon tasted very good. My husband ordered the chocolate croissant and enjoyed it.Loved the vibe, cute place, friendly staff. I’ve added to this cafe to my list of favorites.

I came here with my friend to grab a quick bite to eat around 10 AM, and we decided to split a bevy of pastries. To my disappointment, the baked goods here can be quite stale despite the bakery opening at 8 AM (and presumably making their pastries around 6/7 AM, for that matter). A quick scroll through the reviews tells me that this is not uncommon. We ordered the opera cake, the cream puff, the strawberry pastry, and the strawberry fruit tart. Out of all of them, the strawberry pastry and the opera cake were the best. The pastry was very flaky and the strawberry was sweet, and the opera cake offered a nice chocolatey infusion into our otherwise more mild order. The cream puff and the fruit tart were very very hard. I was pretty disappointed, but I get it. You can't exactly microwave a cream puff or a fruit tart, no one wants melted cream and lukewarm strawberries. I just wish that they could've preserved a bit of the fluffy and/or buttery texture that you typically order baked goods for. Perhaps next time I'll come and order one of their hot meals like their crepes and sandwiches, which seemed particularly eye catching.

I love sitting outside and enjoying a latte and croissant at this wonderful cafe! Also fabulous full breakfast options, not just pastries. I've bought cakes for birthdays here -- anything chocolate is divine, and the fruit tarts are fantastic. Quality ingredients, fresh, made with care and it shows. A favorite spot!

Terrible service and extremely rude! I visited the store on 3/3, around 11 am. I waited for more than five minutes and after three customers who came after me were served before I talked to the manager and asked him why nobody served me. He said that there was a line of service for incoming customers. I told him that I was waiting in that line first and then moved to the other place because I wanted to buy the food there. Then I asked him where is the sign of showing the line of service. He was speechless. Feel like eating a fly in their food with that disgusting face.

This is such a cute bakery and cafe. Prices are reasonable despite locating in Palo Alto. It's in a parking lot so it's easy to get to and a best place to run errands. If you're not in the mood to just grab Starbucks, this is a more nicer place for coffee. Service is nice! I had a smoked salmon sandwich and a French onion soup. I am usually picky when it comes to French onion soup but this is my favorite. Love it here!

Went here for some coffee on a Saturday afternoon. Place is pretty busy and they have a nice selection of pastries and cakes. We got a cafe latte and a small tea cake. The coffee was great and the tea cake was also good. Some nice outdoor seating. Well get back here and try some different pastries next time.
