The staff was nice and the food was good. We got the surf and turf, California omelette, and the kids pancakes. The presentation was great and the food was tasty. We saw the Biscoff pancakes but it would have been too much for us. They open at 9:30 so keep that in mind. They also had dessert that looked good but we were too full. There is parking in the back.
In Palo Alto, so we decided to get some breakfast at Fambrini’s Café on a weekday. Their pancakes and French toast totally hit the spot. The pancakes were fluffy, buttery, and had just the right amount of crisp on the edges. You could tell they were made fresh and they were not the overly sweet kind.
But the French toast was next level. Thick slices, perfectly soaked and grilled to a caramelized perfection. Slight crunch on the outside, warm and custardy inside. It...
I have had catering from Fambrini’s and enjoyed it. I had heard great things and decided to give it a try at the restaurant. I like counter ordering and then sitting to wait for our food. However, the busyness of the the ordering area and crowds creates some pressure on the ordering process and we felt rushed. We tried the pear and Brie breakfast sando with the breakfast potatoes and Brie and mushroom omelette. To say both were a bit underwhelming is an understatement....
