We had Chocolate & Blueberry focaccia, which was truly excellent. Also two jar cakes: Pistachio and Tiramisu. The jar cakes, like the focaccia, were very nicely made from quality ingredients. But their flavors were quite subtle, and afterward we both thought that the eating pleasure we got from them wasn't worth the calories.

I ordered a pistachio crepe cake, and it was excellent. The cake was beautifully prepared with plenty of pistachios and just the right level of sweetness. It was ready on time and even came with customized lettering on top. My daughter absolutely loved it!

Super fantastic bread if you like fresh artisanal sourdough with a light crust and very chewy crumb. Will have to go another time to try the pastries which also looked fantastic.

They have so many varieties to choose. And they got some bread out for you to taste. I went there when the breads are out from oven. Smells so good!

This bakery makes all other bakeries completely irrelevant - it’s so so so good. They do a phenomenal job making delicious treats and also always have this very kind and police man working there. Such a great experience overall!

Came in looking for cookies and the young lady behind the counter gave me fantastic advice. Iooted for Hazelut to accompany my coffee, but would go back for the pies in a jar(they looked really good).

Delicious baked goods (especially the focaccia)! I also tried the one day old jalapeño cheddar bread and it was absolutely delicious! Guy at the counter is always so kind and helpful, came back a second time just for the great service :)

I’ve been wanting to check out this bakery for quite some time. We went with my sister today and it did not disappoint. We bought the blueberry chocolate focaccia (out of this world sweet delight with coffee or tea), tiramisu jar cake (just the right amount of sweetness, I can’t stand when things are overly sweet) and also tried their sourdough with olives. All three were delicious (even though I don’t like black olives this bread was still good) and I will definitely be back for more (also want to try the Mountain View location). This is the best tasting focaccia bread I’ve ever had.

Welcome to G.K. Pastry, a little bake shop hidden away on the bustling business street of Park Blvd, Palo Alto.

My family & I ran into this mother & son owned bakery on our way to the nearby Mollie Stone’s. After trying their sundried tomato & cheese sourdough, we were hooked! However, G.K. Pastry would be nothing if not diverse with a menu ranging from savory spice to rich sweetness.

Recently we tried one of the family’s specialties: their Apple Pie Jar Cake! The layers of crisp diced apples, whipping cream, & cinnamon fused to create a bite akin to gourmet apple pie.

As bread enthusiasts, my family soon returned to purchase their homemade pesto foccassia bread. They sell pesto with crab or tomatoes, & although many may be put off by the sound of seafood on their bread, we can attest that the crispy crab topping on top of the soft cheesy dough was instant perfection, similar to a pizza!

It is also a pleasure to speak with the kind son of the duo, who usually mans the cash register & always gives detailed answers to our questions. If you have a hankering for a sweet treat or need a gift for a fellow foodie, I suggest supporting G.K. Pastry.

Not sponsored, created independently to support a small business 😊.

Delicious spinach, jalapeno, olives and cheese focaccia. I appreciated the compostable containers as well as the counterperson pointing out that if I wanted more topping, I could choose the middle piece.
