Ordered breakfast at Palo Alto (Stanford Hospital). The potatoes were not cooked. I asked for eggs scrambled lightly with cheese. The eggs were so hard and potatoes were cold. The cheese on the eggs sat there. It didn’t melt because everything was so cold.Recommendation Find a vending machine- better quality!

Great place loved by locals. Salad was delicious and service was fast. Will definitely go back if we are in the area.

Great little spot for lunch or breakfast. Not a massive fan of the coffee cake though... Sorry.

This tired old Palo Alto restaurant is easily replaced at home with a box of bake at home breakfast crumb cake and your own dry ass potatoes

Love Hobee's! Tasty food, homey environment, friendly service. And I personally love the very strong cinnamon spiced Hobee's iced tea!

Perfect spot to sit with a guest over breakfast. Plenty of great choices on the menu. Delicious food with generous portions. Some might choose to split a plate here. Service was attentive and were kind not to rush us out when we were done.

I wanted to try the blueberry cake so I came and sat on the patio. My wife and I ordered a salad, sandwich and a slice of cake. The cake came out first, warm with a giant amount of butter on top. The waiter dropped the butter off the cake onto the table and was unphased. We never got more butter and they never cleaned the giant pile of semi-melted butter off the table. The salad then came and it was the wrong one, no one came to check on us so we had to take the salad inside and ask for a different one, the new one was what we wanted but was mediocre. The sandwich was fine. Again, no one came to check on us so we went inside to get our cheque and pay. Hilariously terrible service, we ate the entire meal with giant pile of butter on the table and no butter for the cake.

Went on Christmas Eve and they were super busy. They still served us promptly and we were a group of 9. The food was creative and the coffee cake was delicious. The only downside was us not knowing they didn’t split checks on the weekends.

The place is simple but has great breakfast. It has all the usuals, plus some specialties like a variety of omelets. The coffee cake is sensational. They closed the restaurant in Mountain View so this is the next closest.
