Our waiter was really nice. The atmosphere is great. The place is clean. All the food was good except one thing: Black Pepper Beef. It was way too chewy and quite undercooked. But, we returned it, the waiter apologized, and we got another new Black Pepper Beef, which was WAY BETTER. It was tender and slightly sweet. Nicest thing about the waiter was that we already ate like 75% of our original Black Pepper Beef, but the waiter still was willing to return it.

Went in on weekday at 4pm. No customers being served, yet had to wait 40 minutes for "Special" sesame chicken. What makes it special is the long wait time....Edit; Did not receive any utensils for Takeout order.Horrible service. Find a better restaurant

This place has gotten much worse since the change to new ownership. Order was accepted for half a crispy chicken but due to large crowds, we were only informed after like an hour that it was sold out and only after we asked what happened to the order. It is not the first time this has happened to us either. Seems to be an ongoing issue with this restaurant, managing their food inventories.

We ordered several foods on the menu. One of our orders was the chicken salad. It was very salty and the lettuce was on the wilted side. I addressed this concern with the person who escorted us to our seats and he just looked at us like we are joking. We took some leftovers to go and certainly not the salad even though we hardly touched it. We were expecting an apology. Nope it didn’t happen, thus the rating of 1 star is appropriate in my book. Needless to say our bill was $117. Even just discounted it would have been satisfactory. Just for the record, we have been to a much much better tasting Chinese restaurants. Nothing special here!

The ownership recently changed hand. The food is still good, but the size has shrinked. No longer has complimentary house soup for dinner as before. The price is still low, with many selections still below $20 a dish.

my family has been coming to hong kong restaurant for 10+ years. it's been our go-to chinese restaurants for both sit meals for special occasions as well as takeout.hong kong remains to be one of the most reasonably priced chinese restaurants by far, especially if you are eating family style with a larger group. service is not the most friendly but always efficient.our family's favorites include: salt and pepper fried fish fillet, salt and pepper pork ribs, beef chow fun, string beans, and mu shu pork.we will continue to visit hong kong with our family and friends!

If your kitchen closes at 8:30, stop listing your restaurant as open until 9.

I was craving won ton soup today so tried this place out. I ordered to go and my order was promptly ready when I arrived and it was still piping hot! The soup was delicious and comforting! This looks like to be a family type of restaurant, not fancy, but has room for lots of tables. The parking situation is not great though. There are only a few dedicated spaces on the side of the restaurant and you have street parking. I will be back to try out more items. I am excited to find another restaurant that serves really good Chinese food to feed that craving!

Foods are very good with very reasonably prices. But very limited parking lots. Most of people parked in the near by neighborhood or ordered to go. The restaurant space is relatively small compare to the amount of people. Very noisy inside. I would recommend to order to go as their foods are ready good.Kid-friendliness: They offer high chairs for kids

Best Cantonese food around. Our go to place. This is as good as you can get in the area. Unlike other Chinese restaurants nearby the food is authentic Cantonese with a few obligatory dishes that satisfy Caucasian tastes. Walk in and the diners are 90% Asian. Good indication you're in the right place. The seafood is very fresh. Had salt and pepper prawns last night and they were perfectly prepared. Lightly battered, not oily, crispy on the outside, large and sweet as always. Added some beef chow fun, soup of the day and sauteed mustard greens with garlic. Enough for three. We've been regulars for 30 plus years, going back to when they were on El Camino near San Antonio and have never had any dish that didn't satisfy us. You simply can't go wrong here. The banquet menus are written both in Chinese and English. If you're with a group of at least 6-8 people you should experiment. You'll be in for a real treat from soup to dessert. After over 30 years, Hong Kong has new owners. We've eaten in on one occasion and have had takeout twice. Two takeaways ... there are some new items on the menu and items that we've ordered many times in the past are just as good as they've always been (sigh of relief)! Tried a chef's specialty crispy tamago tofu with mushrooms and bok choy. Perfectly done. Some wait staff have been retained and there are some new people including a manager type person named Raymond. I mentioned that we had been frequent customers for years and was happy that the place was in good hands. He said he would do his best to always take good care of us. Wasn't expecting that but it was nice and seemed genuinely sincere. All but two large banquet tables were full and those were marked as reserved. All but one table were Asian customers. A good sign that they will do well and continue with good quality and excellent Cantonese cuisine.

Parking: 4 parking spots on side of the restaurant; otherwise, must find street parking which can be difficult during peak hours

The food was really good! I got the chicken noodle soup. The chicken had a good texture, the broth was great. Really enjoyed it! I had (I recommend) the potstickers and fried prawn with a delicious sweet and sour sauce. Their potstickers are portion larger, which I like. Usually, when I go to other restaurants, the potstickers are small. The service was great. Very Courteous.
